Story

I have been a collector of records since 1976. I first heard interesting records while in Europe . I came back to San Diego determined to find records that were the kind of music that appealed to me, what today is known as "roots music." In the 1970's there was no internet and there were no CD reissues. If you wanted to hear the music, you had to find the records. The more records you found, the more varied the types of music you would be exposed to. For that reason, I branched off and began enjoying country, bluegrass, rockabilly, blues, surf, classic doo wop, r&b and many other types of music. Today my own collection numbers around 80,000 records including LP's, 45's, 78's and 16" radio transcriptions.
