I can't say enough how much I love this staff as a whole. I've had two extractions, and a cleaning so far, and I literally feel as though I've found "dentistry gold"! They are literally the nicest, most professional, and competent practice I've had the pleasure of meeting. My extractions, *which should have been brutal*, were completely pain free, and healed with no issue. The dental assistants, hygienists, and Dr. O'Neill were happy to answer all of my questions, and they did so with a kind and patient nature. Soon after my first visit, Jenny patched me up with medication to relieve dry socket, and she did it so quickly, I didn't feel a thing! On another occasion, I went in to have my extraction site examined to ensure proper healing, and saw Dr. Manny- he was super kind, and reassured me that all was well. There is also a third Dr. that examined me shortly after my extraction, and he was super professional, with a caring demeanor. I have sensitive teeth, and Jennifer performed a pain free cleaning, while speaking to any concerns I might still have. The front desk staff is personable and warm via telephone, and in person. These folks have magic hands and hearts of GOLD! I'm never, ever, EVER leaving. Make your way down to Nippers Corner, and experience dental heaven....trust me- you're seriously missing out if you don't. ;)

From the moment you enter the practice you're greeted by friendly people. The staff is professional and attentive. Each exam room has a TV and is clean, neat and organized. I recently had a dental filling performed and it was a stress-free, pain-free, actually "comfortable" experience. I highly recommend Tennessee Family Dental, whether you need basic cleaning or other more evasive procedures, they are efficient, effective, and painless.

Very professional, welcoming and friendly staff. I didn't feel judged at all. They were very uplifting with my choices and for my future smile. Made me feel like I was their only patient. I will only go to them from now on.

I recently went in for a cleaning. I dont like getting dental work done but this was a very good experience. I had none of the usual waiting room time like moat doctors, I got right in. Staff was very friendly and made it a great experience. Lori did my cleaning and was very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend TFD to my friends and family.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. My first experience at Tennessee Family Dental was great - went in with this really bad irritation around a couple teeth and the doctor I saw was great. I came back in for my bi-annual cleaning and had a new doctor, Dr. Manny I believe. After my cleaning, he took about a 30 second look in my mouth, asked if any part was sensitive to cold or heat. I had one spot that was a little sensitive - so of course he says I have a cavity. Being naive, I chose to believe him and get it filled that morning. He claimed it would be a small filling as it was such a small cavity. It appeared he had never done a filling before (he didn't even know how to use the blue light to get it to dry fast). Anyway, I got it done and left. My tooth was super sensitive for the next several weeks. I'm a musician and head out for a several week long tour. The tooth pain gets increasingly bad. I finally call and get in the day I get back. His solution to help the pain? Put more filling in and around the tooth. Ok then. In a week I'm home for Christmas and my tooth is hurting so bad that I can't sleep at night. I get into my parents' dentist at home and he immediately says "that is the worst filling I have ever seen in all my years of being a dentist" and proceeds to tell me my tooth is so badly infected that I have to have a root canal. He also told me there may or may not have ever been a cavity in that tooth (I brought in my original X-rays from before the filling) - I'm convinced there never was. The new dentist experience was far more enjoyable and he a did a freaking root canal. I thought about suing Tennessee Family Dental more than a few times, but at the end of the day thought it was more hassle than it was worth. Another thing about TFD - their customer service lady was always rude when I called to talk about my experience in the hopes that no one else would go through it. Considering her dentist screwed up my tooth and cost me over $1000 - would've been nice to at least have some sympathy. Also, my roommate had a terrible experience there as well. She had some work done on her teeth and to this day she still keeps getting re-billed over and over, even though her insurance company has said it is taken care of. I believe it's been 3 years. She's constantly having to call TFD and talk to someone about it. They're money hungry and don't give a crap about your actual dental health.
