Story

The progress and growth of Texan Auto Repair rests solely on the dedication to quality, commitment to customer satisfaction, and attention to detail that can only result from personal involvement by every one of us. We serve customers not only in the Sugar Land proximity, but also from West Houston, Katy, Richmond and Rosenberg areas with the motto and ethical mission statement of HONESTY.

We offer a wide range of auto repairs and/or maintenance on power train and drive train systems of almost all cars and trucks. Including gas and diesel (domestic and import). We hire and train ASE certified technicians who use up to date technology, tools and equipment.
The offices feature a nice and clean lobby with free WIFI connection and cable TV, as well as clean restrooms.

Terry's team at Texan Auto takes a painful process (paying for vehicle repairs) and makes it as smooth and respectful as possible.  I highly recommend them.

Update:  I returned to Texan Auto in order to find an oil leak. While there the team went above and beyond what I could have asked for.  We discovered 2 leaks along with a series of many small repairs.  Truth be told, the lemon law might have been useful.  Texan Auto carefully walked through the needed repairs and openly discussed how they could work cleverly to reduce the necessary cost.  As a result the car is in superior condition for much less than any dealer would have charged.  I trust these folks and I'm grateful good people like them are in business.

The gentlemen at at Texas Auto do an excellent job maintaining my vehicles.  They are honest and efficient which are the two most important qualities I value.  They keep me informed and offer options concerning the repairs required.  I have recommended friends take their automobile to Texas Auto for their maintenance needs.  Several months back I took my one of my vehicles to Texas Auto and actually met a friend who I had recommended Texas Auto to.  I will not take my vehicles to a dealership ever again!

Terry and the rest of the Texan Auto family are great. Very helpful, very friendly, very knowledgeable. Terry worked with me on some collision repairs and helped me understand the work which was needed and helped keep the price down in the process. This is the place to go for state inspection, oil change, maintenance work, and collision repairs. Terry will work with you in order to make sure you are satisfied with the end result. Car issues can be a pain, but you can rest easily taking your vehicle here-- it will be in safe hands and in hands of people wanting to help and repair the issue. I am very grateful to have found Texan Auto!! Thank you!!

If you’re looking for a mechanic in Houston who is honest, fair priced and gives the best customer service then look nowhere else and stop here. This is it, a Terry Salamat and his team are nothing but the best when it comes to the automotive industry. These guys have done nothing but give me and my family nothing but the best in service. They will never make you feel unsafe or pressure you into doing anything that you don’t want to. I have had 3 accidents within the past year and Terry has done nothing but guide me through every step and process to get a good deal from the insurance company and repair my car to its original state. I cannot express how thankful I am to have an amazing mechanic like these guys that can always help me with anything that I need. If there is ever any concern or major issue with any of my vehicles I can put all of my trust into these wonderful people to help me resolve it. There is seriously no reject too big or too small that they cannot tackle. Come for any issue that you are experiencing and stay forever because of the legendary customer service.

I really can't begin to say how thankful I am to Terry and his Team at Texan Auto Repair & Collision.  From the moment I walked through their doors because my truck had been in an accident to when I got my truck back, they have been the best! Terry worked with me and my insurance company to make sure I got the best parts needed and at the best cost. They made my truck look brand new! Honest, dependable,  set the right expectations ,  and the best customer service hands down  from David and Ryan. Since then I have become a loyal customer through and through!
