I have gone to this location for license replacement as well as renewal. I’ve never waited for more than 15 minutes . My son also goes to this location with no problems. I recommend the Gatesville location for quick service and professional employees.

My daughter went to get a new license because hers is damaged, a bubble right over her face. The bank has said she cannot use it as identification because you cannot see her face. The lady here said she could not renew because it is too early (does not expire till next Dec.). BUT after calling a different office I find out she should have given her a duplicate license. Why was this not offered?? Why is it so hard for people to do their job? You knew that was an option and you agreed the bubble hid her face therefore you knew it was no longer a valid ID, yet you did not help her by offering her a duplicate. This should be the next office to close since they are of no help to the public.

I have never met such a rude individual in my life. They really need to get someone else who is willing to help and knows how to smile. I will from now on go to copperas cove.

I found their hours pretty easy to find on the DPS website, I did try to call and got an answering machine that stated when they were open. When I got there the ladies were very helpful, and I asked her why no one picked up the phone. She told me their first priority is the customers that actually came down to the office, not the phones. I can appreciate that!!! Great job ladies!!!

This place is a joke. We schedule my daughters driving test. The paper told us 3pm. We get there at 245pm and the clerk said our appointment was at 150pm. HOW!!!??? Looked at the appointment papers agin an they have written on there appointment at 3pm check in time at 315 pm but our appointment was at 150???? Eveytime we go there is an issue. I don't recommend
