My hubby and I (in our 30s) came here for our 7th Anniversary.  We wanted somewhere quiet, in the country.  We came from North Fort Worth.  We were delighted by the East Cabin - you really felt like you stepped back in time.  It had an amazing tub (big enough for us both), very soft bed, and beauty all around.  They even had nice music playing when we arrived, and wine glasses/corkscrew set out.  The breakfast consisted of fruit, juice, coffee and yummy prepackaged pastries.  It was nice to sit out in the rocking chairs the next morning, enjoying nature.
The only complaint would be: the guests in the West Cabin next to us were pretty loud.  The 2 kids made a lot of noise, and the adults stayed up until at least midnight, out on the porch, drinking.  We retired pretty early and so we played white noise on my husband's phone so we could sleep.  
We would definitely come again, especially if we knew we'd be the only ones there.  We came in the summer, so I think the Fall/Winter /Spring there may be more of a chance of that.

Great getaway from the city! Log cabin is perfect for anyone just wanting to relax and feel like you are far away in the country.The Lake is literally minutes away perfect for anyone trying to enjoy the outdoors.I would definitely recommend.
