About

We support bicyclists and create healthy bicycle-friendly communities through activities, advocacy, and education.

Story

The Bicycle Tree is a nonprofit community bicycle center. During public hours, you can use our tools to work on your bike with the help of our volunteer mechanics. We also sell used bikes, parts, and accessories, plus a decent selection of essential new items. We also do bike rides, bike donations, youth programs, and other activities. Check out our new location - opening Saturday, June 10th 2017!

Lots of enthusiasm from the staff Very passionate volunteers , eager to help train you how to fix your own bike ..using any tool in the shop. And available used parts to upgrade your bicycle.. if you haven't been to the bicycle tree.. your definitely missing out on a lot of love.

Their FINAL Sale was a success after a slow starting morning- ( conflicting bike Sale out in the country). I bought a nice SPECIALIZED Hard Rock road bike for approximately half it's value. I scored big on the accessories: Kickstand $4., Rear storage bracket for $7 but the real deal was on the Currie eBike for (under $50!) less the batteries.it"s in great condition too! Paul really knows his stuff, he is the King of discounting and their labor fees are cheap because there's mainly volunteers. Kind of like a beauty school only there was no good gossip nor was a hair-cut required. 😁

I can't begin to talk about this place. It's something you really have to just feel and experience. You'll lose faith in buying new bikes. But it's not just the great selection of fantastic used bikes they have. It's the environment and the vibe. I haven't felt this is a very long time. I had the option to pick up a brand new bike from Walmart but I chose to go the used bike route because I knew the experience my little girl would get would be impossible to get elsewhere. They are such kind people and clearly know what they're doing. If you're looking for a bike, any bike, go here first. Spend some time and I can assure you that you'll find what you're looking for. The fact that you can get your hands dirty and they help you do it is just something that has to be experienced. I love it and highly recommend it to anyone who's remotely into biking. For yourself or for your kids. GO HERE FIRST.
