We loved The Cake Girl for our wedding day! With our first booked cake vendor going out of business a few months before wedding day, The Cake Girl was able to step in without missing a beat. Kirby made the whole process so smooth. We did a combination of a small two-tier cake strawberry cheesecake + lots of fancy cupcakes cookie butter, carrot cake, butterfinger and blueberry lemon and our guests loved them! We even had tons of leftovers for our friends and family, which was the best part Reasonably priced, great communication and delivery. We actively refer them to friends and family!
We did the at home taste testing and the girls were wonderful when we went in to the store. They made the process simple, and gave me plenty of options to choose from. All of the cakes we sampled were wonderful. on our wedding day everything turned out beautiful. We had a cake, variety of cupcakes and brownies for our wedding, by the end of the night there was almost nothing left because everyone loved them. They were also great about letting me make a few changes later on to accommodate some guest dietary restrictions. We were extremely happy with the outcome.
Wow, a chocolate vegan cake with strawberry filling and buttercream icing. Simply divine, very dense and PERFECTLY decorated for the celebrant! The icing was SO yummy and not overly sweet. It is inspiring me to order a regular style cake ASAP. Thank you The Cake Girl for making delicious dreams come true!!!
My daughter FLIPPED OUT with joy over this cake. She turned 3 recently and I asked her what kind of cake she wanted- she told me she wanted a tall, green cake with chocolate sprinkles. It might not be the classic 'little girl' birthday cake, but it's exactly what she wanted, and that's what's important. The Cake Girl nailed it both in looks and taste. Rave reviews on quality from many party guests. Plus, it was delivered right to my house the day before- super easy. As the proud father of a growing, strong young lady I'm so happy to support both a local small business, as well as a women-owned & led one. The Cake Girl was AMAZING to work with. The wedding cake looked exactly as I pictured it and the taste....OMG! We had 2 flavors: Vanilla cake and raspberry filling and lemon cake with lemon curd. I can't tell you which was better as they were both to die for. And the Groom's cake! They took my vision and turned it into edible art! I would recommend them to friends and strangers alike! If you're looking for a special event cake or just a delicious cake, CALL THEM!
The cake we got for our wedding was exactly what we wanted and hoped for! Kirby was very responsive all throughout my inquiry process, and Christina and her team did an excellent job decorating the cake with my favorite flowers! The cake was delicious and all my guests raved about it! I 100% recommend them!
The Cake Girl made us an amazing rice crispy treat wedding cake! The middle layer is almond cake with guava filling, and it was divine. I cannot recommend them enough for being open to whatever design and inspiration you have. They were so excited to do rice crispy treats for us. The rice crispy treats were a big hit with the guests, and definitely the favorite of the bride and groom. <3
We used the Cake Girl for our wedding cake on 5/22/22. It was so tasty, and the team went above and beyond to deliver us a custom design proposed by my husband. We are huge nature buffs, and he had some unique design elements he wanted to include from blue gelatin to represent the water, to a pair of horseshoe crabs, to a mangrove tree. The team did an excellent job of helping us to merge our vision with our budget, and the finished product was one-of-a-kind, beautiful, AND delicious!! I absolutely loved everything about The cake girl! Customer service was amazing, they always answered my questions in a timely manner. The cake I wanted for my wedding was made almost identical to the picture I gave them. The cake was beautiful and elegant and the best part: it tasted amazing! All my wedding guests were in awe of it. I definitely recommend The cake girl to anyone that’s looking for quality and taste. The cake on the right is my wedding cake and the one on the left is the picture i submitted! I mean just look at that!! My husband was also pleased with their delivery, he said they were very professional! You guys know what you’re doing, keep up the amazing work! Thank you guys so much!
Kirby and the Cake Girl did an amazing job on our wedding cake. Kirby took the time to explain all the details we needed to know when ordering a wedding cake. He was very helpful. We had a shipping issue with out cake testing could not go into bakery due to covid and they fixed it immediately at no charge. The cake was the best taking and moist cake we tried during wedding cake testing. We went with one layer of the lemon cake with raspberry filling, chocolate with chocolate cream, and almond cake with raspberry filling. We paid for the delivery service and it arrived safely and in perfect condition. We order the extra layer for our one year anniversary but ate it every day until we left for our honeymoon. We will need to order a new one for our one year anniversary. We loved the customer service at the Cake Girl and highly recommend them for your wedding. I did think the wedding cake was costly but that seems to be at every bakery. The intricate design that we picked and the taste of the cake flavors were worth it! It was perfect for our all black and white wedding. My husband picked out the design and Kirby executed it exactly like the picture we sent. Thank you, Cake Girl!
