My wife and I stayed here to attend a Cubs game. I booked a King suite and when I checked in they said I had a Queen. A few things to keep in mind about this hotel. First of all, it is kind of difficult to get to, it sits way back in a neighborhood once you exit off I-55. There are signs pointing you to the location but it's extremely dark. Because it sits so close to I-55, the traffic noise you hear all night long. Second, there are no windows in the room at all. The room is shaped very strangely because the jacuzzi tub sits practically by the door. Since it is so large, the floor space of the room is very small. Plus this tub took us almost an hour to fill before you could use the jets. The comfort level of the beds are hit and miss. The first time we stayed here, the bed was completely sunk in the middle, obviously due to activity that is not sleeping! The second time we got the opposite, the bed was hard as a brick. But more disturbing was what was underneath the mattress. Not bed bugs, but just bugs in general, tons of them a few alive, but most dead. When I addressed this with a manager, I was told, "Why would you look under the mattress?" Because in this day in age you need to make sure there is no bed bugs. She says, "we Have never had any bed bugs here. " Which was disturbing for one her attitude about the subject and that me bringing this up was crazy. Another issue with the room is poor air circulation. The room tends to get very stuffy regardless of if it is heat and or a/c. They do offer continental breakfast but I never had it. The jacuzzi tub is very large and difficult to get in and out of. It really should have handles on it so you don't fall. There is a strong no smoking policy and they will charge you if you smoke in the room. I know the last time we were there we debated coming back, but the price was reasonable. So with that I will this. If you are looking for a place for a romantic getaway just for a night and you want the larger bed and larger jacuzzi tub, then this would suffice. If you are looking for a place to stay for more than one night with comfortable beds to sleep in, bigger room space, and more storage, I would suggest another place. Between the issues I mentioned and the rudeness of the staff, we will not be back.

Great place! Went for a few days after our wedding, the staff went above and beyond and were very friendly.  Everything was very clean and working well.  A very relaxing place, very quiet and comfortable.  Massages by Nicole were amazing, she is a wonderful soul.  We want to come back every year for our anniversary, or to just have some alone time.

The buttons and knobs on the "fireplace" were either taped on or broken off. No heat came out of it. I liked the hot tub. However, three or four jets weren't even working. Handles, knobs, and anything attached to something else were mostly loose. The battery door on the tv remote fell off. Overall, the experience was great, and the service was friendly. But, the rooms desperately need more regular maintenance. Definitely worth more than a standard hotel room, but not worth the stated price. The "used" feel of the room really compromises the premium feel it should have.

Had the executive suite, it was perfect. The steam room was the best. The staff was very pleasant and told us about restaurants that deliver as well as nearby places. Great first time experience, I'd definitely go back.

The rooms could’ve been a little more updated and the continental breakfast was very basic consist of coffee,bagels,muffins,donuts could’ve been severed a warm breakfast,over all decent. Now the best part was the spa’s 90 min hot stone couples massages we booked!! It was AMAZING!! Massage therapist was friendly they made it a comfortable and relaxing experience,very hospitable!would definitely drive 5 hours just for the massage!The spa alone made up for everything else!
