This is a pretty decent place.  My wife and I shared a few appetizers and the smoked Mac-n-cheese which is quite delicious.  The frites and the pretzel bread with beer cheese was tasty as well.  We did water because budgets ya know?  We went before on a Friday/Saturday night and it was cramped! But this time we went on a Thursday night and had plenty of space and it was quiet enough that we were able to really enjoy the atmosphere.  

The Exchange, like other eateries, are almost guaranteed to have decent food, but what sets these places apart are your ability to enjoy yourself and the company your with, and my wife and I were able to enjoy ourselves during this exchange!

Crossed the river yesterday to meet another couple at The Exchange Pub and Kitchen in Nawbny (New Albany).
If you look at their menu online, some of the prices can be intimidating. But sitting in the restaurant with the full lunch menu in front of you, you can pick the items that fit your price range. Portions were ample and it's a pretty good chance that whatever you choose, you will enjoy it. There were no complaints among the 4 of us, and my wife and I will put it in our eating out rotation.
The bar and walls have a rustic bare wood look that makes it interesting. Service was adequate, and the kitchen was timely despite it being lunchtime.
I guess my only complaint, me being a cross the river person, was finding parking close to The Exchange. But it was worth the walk, and good company helps.

I enjoyed it. OK, a one thing right up front, it's not the cheapest. If you're extremely budget conscious, you can probably check this off you list. I've been here for lunch the few times I have gone, so I can speak for dinner service. But, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was good.

So opportunity to go here finally came! Nice choices on the drink menu. I ordered the Exchange Cosmosa, excellent flavor!! We ordered the fish and chips and The Exchange Burger. Ok,  we had enough left over for lunch tomorrow, the portions are good sized and were very impressed with prices and atmosphere. Very, very comfortable environment, for a date or a family outing.  Our waitress, Alex, was friendly and prompt, when we were finished she boxed our food for us!!! Can't wait for a second visit! A MUST go to if you're in the area.

I enjoyed my visit to The Exchange Pub. The service was great, and I felt the wait staff went out of their way to make us feel like we were their most important customers. 

I had the mussels from the starters menu which was a huge bowl filled to almost overflowing with mussels. So much in fact I made that my meal. My wife had the fish and chips and said it was great. 

I am going to make this place a regular thing for my wife and I. We enjoy going out for dinner quite often and try to hit most of the local places. But a few earn repeat visits. This is such a place.
