Story

The Filling Station Microbrewery is located in the historical railroad depot with beautiful views of the Boardman Lake and directly on the T.A.R.T. bike trail. Our flatbreads and microbrews use the freshest ingredients available. Andrew Largent, head brewer, uses a 10bbl brewing system to create delicious craft brews in a variety of styles.

The Filling Station, so named as it’s an old train depot, would be awesome even if it weren’t for the awesome environment based on the beer and food alone. The outside patio that runs along what was once the train platform is where you want to be enjoying some excellent beer and food on a nice day. The beer is great with a huge variety of styles brewed on site to quench your thirst. The food is excellent as well, especially the pizza which is baked inside in a large oven. You’ll even find some interesting toppings like spicy local peppers and cheese which are perfect for a day of beer tasting out on the patio. It doesn’t get much better than this.

I'm really enjoying this place. Second time we went, and just as good as the first time! Service is fast and beer is good! Nice casual atmosphere with ordering at the bar, pub style. They serve very good salads and pizza! They also have a small kids menu and are pretty family friendly. I say check them out. You won't be disappointed if you enjoy a good thin crust pizza and some craft beer.

Great beer and amazing service. Appreciated the family and dog friendly environment. From our group, the favorite beers were the ESB, the imperial stout, and the brown ale. The food we tried was great as well. Overall, a bit limited in food options unless you want pizza but at least the pizza is delicious.

Wonderful beers, salads, and pizzas. Great service. Great staff. Many compliments. No complaints. Oh, and the view of Boardman Lake is pretty sweet too.

Ales on the rails! Love this place. Salads are huge and fairly priced. Very fresh produce and never disappointing. Flatbread selection is great. Beer is very good! Be sure to check it out - it's one of the ten places I recommend visitors to the area to check out for food and local craft brew.
