Story

We are Akron Ohios first Caribbean themed restaurant. We offer American favorites such as Wings, Burgers, Phillys, Fresh cuts, fish, shrimp & more as well as Caribbean Cuisine including Jerk Chicken, Oxtails, Curry Chicken, Curry Goat, rice & peas & more. We are located in Akron's Scenic Merriman Valley two doors down from the old Max McQ's. Come on over the hill & take a trip to Flavorville!

The food was OMG! Great customer service. I called ahead and my food was ready when I got there.  I had the catfish dinner and my husband had a ocean perch dinner. The price was really  reasonable and the portions was very generous!! We will definitely be back and soon.

Awesome place in town that isn't a chain restaurant. Has a Jamaican influence, and a really nice owner. If you like trying new places out I would deff check this one out. I can't wait to get some more free time and try a few other things on the menu.

The Flavor Grille is located in Merriman Valley in Akron. It is quaint restaurant,  but it has a few tables where you can sit and eat inside the restaurant. I ordered the mild jerk chicken with rice, macaroni and cheese and greens. My boyfriend ordered six barbecue wings. The food was delicious. The wings were fried and then dipped in a sweet  barbecue sauce. My only complaint would be the small bones in the chicken , I would have preferred white meat or the chicken to be cut better.

The food is exceptionally good... Taste like your eating a home cooked meal...

Man the jerk chicken was off the hook. Loved it and the chicken wings was good!  The greens was seasoned just right and the mac and cheese was perfect. Will be back
