Story

The Brookstown Inn was built in 1837. The Inn has the charm and ambiance of old-world architecture with all the conveniences of a modern conference facility. Its hallmarks of exposed brick walls and wooden beams enhance its Early American décor and help you escape to the charm of yesteryear.

We are within a short walk of the restored 1766 Moravian village of Old Salem and convenient to the Winston-Salem business district, North Carolina School of the Arts, the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Arts (SECCA), Winston Salem State University, Wake Forest University, and Salem College. The property is also only a short distance from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Forsyth Memorial Hospital.

This place is BEAUTIFUL. I stayed here on a Friday night in February. My room was enormous, the bed was so comfortable, the shower rain head was awesome. The whole hotel had so much character. Would definitely stay again! Highlight of my Winston Salem trip!

This is one of the most unique hotels I've ever stayed in. Huge comfortable room with a giant soaking bathtub. Good hot breakfast buffet included (very good coffee), free wine and cheese from 5-7 (very fun, my wife and I met some new people), and complementary milk and cookies before bed. Fantastic night away, very reasonable price, and a lot of service for the money spent. We will definitely be back soon.

Unique boutique hotel made from a converted factory. Rooms are spacious, with high ceilings, but not all that modern. You feel like you're in a bed and breakfast more than a hotel. A quaint feature is the cookies and milk offered in the lobby at night. There is also a free glass of wine in the lobby around dinner time. Nice fireplace and comfy chairs, free daily paper, etc. in the lobby. It's walking distance to a few unique, boutique-y restaurants. Each time I went to one, they were crowded and I had to wait. All things considered, I liked staying there once, but would probably choose another place in the area next time.

I used the Brookstown Inn many times over the years and always had a most enjoyable stay. I recently visited it again and found it every bit as charming and quaint as ever. The staff is incredibly pleasant and welcoming and I recommend it heartily. The prices are very competitive with other area hotels.

Cozy little place for coffee and baked goods. Great selection over vegan and gluten free options. Absolutely always satisfied.
