Weirdly I can't find one negative thing about my shopping experience today that wasn't my own fault. I was looking for a hooked knife but wasn't really sure what they called them. There was an associate nearby that was busy with something but kept glancing in my direction. I can't tell you how many times I have had a waiter or waitress interrupt a conversation I'm having with someone, to ask me if I need anything. It's truly the worst. He chose not to be that guy, nobody likes that guy. I began looking for what I needed and he offered his assistance. (He read the "context clues") I was quite impressed. When I went to the register to pay for my equipment the line was maybe two to three minutes long, the cashier had a brief conversation with my wife while she scanned our items. She didn't try to talk your ear off like some people do. Talked just enough to be friendly and didn't sound like a robot. I truly think this has been the best shopping experience I have had in a long time.

We purchased a dishwasher recently after purchasing a new home (first time home owners). We didn't know we needed to have copper fittings to be able to install the new appliance. The delivery team arrived and told us they couldn't install it or haul away our old one. We elected to return the washer and all the parts and put the money toward a repair instead. Because we paid in cash, we had to return to the store to collect our refund (which is fine). When we got there (the next day), the employees in the appliance section said their system told them the dishwasher was delivered so they couldn't refund our money. Delivery wouldn't answer their phones so we were instructed to "try again another day". Very disappointed by how little effort such a large company put into making our situation right. The employees didn't even offer to contact any management and were very short with us. Lowe's will definitely be getting our money for future major purchases. I'd imagine corporate offices for Home Depot would've handled it better but the employees at this particular store definitely put in minimal effort.

Ive been going to this home depot almost everyday for 20 years and I don't know one person in there. .. Anyone that is helpful they let go..

Went in for a security system. Was told by four different people four different places to go look in the store. The 5th person told me they told me they have nothing with cameras in them except lights. Please know your store or go look with the customer don't send them on a wild goose chase. This caused you guys to lose out on a $600 sale. Went to Lowe's. They were very helpful showed me what they had in store. Explained them to me and asked questions. Asked me if I'd like help going online to order it (since that was the system I was looking for). 100% different experience!!!
