The owners are amazing and most hospitable.  The place is a bit dated as far as maintenance.  The ceiling looked as though it was damaged by water and the mattress very lumpy and uncomfortable.  There were ants crawling on the breakfast table edges.

Excellent experience! The Mary Smith Room was clean, cozy and comfortable. It made you feel like you went back in time to the 1700s with some modern day amenities. We hope to visit again!

The owners of the Lily Inn are friendly and knowledgeable!  The room was clean and fresh. Didn't  wake up in time for breakfast but it smelled good. I would definitely stay here again! There is no TV in the room itself but there is one in a common room upstairs.  If you enjoy history, sleeping in a house built in 1709 is something you should do!

Do NOT go with children.
We stayed at Lily inn for one night. We were 2 couples with children. The owner made us feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable. At the breakafast while we are siting at the table and waiting patiently he made us wait for 1 hour while made food for the rest of the people who came after us. This was very offensive! We were sitting and waiting and our kids kept asking why everybody else is getting food but not us. 
Obviously we will never return!!!

The Lily Inn is the best. The hosts are kind, friendly, and absolutley helpful in so many ways. Their backyard is incredible, the art work is beautiful, and it is the perfect sanctuary for peace and relaxation.
