The rooms were spacious and clean and the hallways were relatively quiet at night. Reception was friendly and informative on local sites to see. Could use some style updating, but the floral pattern is charming. The water pressure wasn't fantastic in the toilet or shower, but overall my family and I would stay here again. Story Land is only 2 miles down the road and a grocery store is nearby.

Love the view and location. Unfortunately the rooms smell very strongly of mildew. When we informed the front desk of a significant leak under the refrigerator (wet socks are the worst!), they handed my wife two towels and a roll of paper towels and told her to take care of the wet carpet herself! We laughedn and went to bed. Today (our second night) when we got back to the room after a full day of outdoor activities, we found that they hadn't touched the wet spot in the room! The towels we left to soak up water were still there. *Sigh* They seem like nice folks, but the cleanliness could use a major boost. When the wet carpet smells of sewage, it's probably time to change the carpet or schedule a deep clean.

My band and I have been staying at the Lodge for several years when we perform in Intervale, NH and we always have a very positive experience there. The rooms are spotless and the hotel is in a beautiful spot. Yesterday my wife and I ate lunch at a picnic table next to the creek that runs through the grounds and we noticed another family enjoying the pool and bbq area. The owner is always very friendly and knowledgeable and Louise, the lady who was working the desk this weekend was wonderful! We love the town of Jackson with it's great restaurants and beautiful golf course and the Lodge is right around the corner. We definitely hope to continue to stay at the Lodge for as long as we're performing in the area.

Hotel was much nicer than others that I have stayed at in the area. The front desk person was very helpful and good mannered. The room was quite comfortable including full bathroom, mini fridge, extra small bed and storage space. The room came with a 32 inch LCD TV offering cable and Starz channels. Gripes would be no Continental breakfast which other hotels around the area offered. Also the lodge is next to the golf course so there's people about that you can see out of your sliding door and window. Would easily recommend to anyone visiting the area as it is comfortable and in very close proximity to mount Washington.
