I can't give this place anything less than five stars. If I could give more I would! The loft really goes out of it's way to have an interesting and well thought out schedule. The staff that works there is super engaged and it really shows in everything they do. There is a membership package that gives you discounts and access to special events. There is pretty much no downside to being a member. Sign up!

The line for concessions was quite long and I wasn't sure if I would be able to get comfortable seats and something to drink. I opted for seats. 

Thankfully, before the movie starts there is a message stating how long until the feature begins, and a message stating when a good time to get in line for concessions. 

The Loft is a movie going experience unlike any other in southern Arizona. They really try to make sure you have the best time you can have. Highly recommend.

I love this place.  When I go here, I feel like I am watching a movie in the co fort of my own living room.   The space is intimate and the movies are more intellectual and off main stream films produced to just make a buck.

The Loft Cinema is the deepest pool of film that you can swim in. Being a member is like having a great second job! Monthly Film Guide Magazine available free at locations around Tucson and on-line. Wonderful Website. Being a member is worth it! 3 Screens. Screen one is Fifty feet across, remodeled with new seats, new screen, new sound,  70mm projection and largest auditorium with raked seating. Second intimate size casual theatre upstairs, and third theatre with new screen and new seats located East along the Patio. Also "'have screen will travel'" outdoor screenings! Large parking lot. The amount and diversity of films, festivals, special engagements, new films, live appearances, community rentals, Mondo Mondays, Cult Classics, Oddities, Only in Tucson Events, Kid Festival, and International Films make for a lively cinema life for Tucson. Snack bar has organic popcorn, beer of the month, food and snacks. Amazing staff and a beyond unique highly amusing Program Director/Film Host. The Loft is one of the 7 wonders of the World.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Loft cinemas and hope to get back there soon.  I went for the Tucson Jewish International Film Festival's opening night.  The concessions were great and unique to Tucson (i.e. lots of local foods).  The employees were very helpful with making suggestions about food and beverage choices.  The theaters themselves were nice.    No reclining seats like some theaters have gone too, but not necessary with the theater sizes this venue had.  The combination of free movies, indie films, and classics that they play make this theater top notch.  Will definitely be going back.
