Phil did a LOT of work on my Forester in December of 2016. He did a great job at a very reasonable price. He's an old school mechanic and his warranty is his word. I would put him up against any of the subie shops in town or in boulder. I would definitely go back to him.

Phil has been nothing but honest and helpful for us. Have had our Honda Pilot repaired with him as well as rented U-Hauls for moves. Hard to find an honest mechanic - he is definitely one of them.

First time customer, will be a repeat customer. Phil was upfront about his fees and repairs. Great, timely communication. Repairs were finished on time and at a reasonable rate. Phil is a true professional and a pleasure to work with.

People like Phil Donelan are truly the life and soul of this country.  Phil's passion and commitment to taking care of people and their vehicles is simply resounding.  Friendly and unassuming, he approaches every customer with a smile and enthusiasm.  

Being new to the Front Range I struggled to find a mechanic that would work on my 1979 Mercedes 240 Diesel.  After being turned away from two local mechanics my best friend referred me to The Mechanical Monk.  Phil quickly got my baby back up and running and made me feel good in my ownership by telling what a great car I had.  

Update:  The alternator was failing and again I took it to The Mechanical Monk to be serviced.  Phil had it diagnosed is less than five minutes!

Very reasonable rates, got us in quickly, and just an overall nice guy.  Will be happy to bring back either one of our Subarus again in the future.
