The management here is really unfriendly. Dena, the manager, is the absolute worst. My 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment hasn't been updated since the apartments were built decades ago and they want to charge $1015/month plus $100/month for w/s/g. It has really bad mold problems because the windows are ancient. It's a shady area and people continually have their cars broken into or stolen (my friends car was stolen from in front of my apartment). Even though I hate it here, I stay for my son to keep him in the same school. Ever since the apartment switched management companies, my rent has increased $100/month every year if I sign a 12 month lease (it's a bigger increase if you sign a shorter term lease). Recently it was time to resign my lease. I got the notice on my door stating it would rise $108/month if I signed a 12 month lease. I signed the paper agreeing to the 12 month lease and waited for the lease to arrive online. When it did I was surprised to see they hadn't increased my rate. I assumed it was because they realized how insane it is to charge so much for such an outdated apartment. I signed the lease and a few days later received the signed copy from the manager. We BOTH signed at the old rate. Then they called me and said they made a mistake and wanted me to sign a new lease. I politely declined. Dena was incredibly cold-hearted and insanely mean when I discussed the matter with her. She told me she contacted her lawyer and since I won't resign and pay the new rate, will proceed with eviction. Please don't move here! These are terrible apartments and I promise you can find better for the same price. Don't let the indoor pool suck you in. It is closed most the year due to maintenance.

Don't move here. The previous owner of the complex employed twice the staff, charged $50 extra to go month to month at the end of the lease, allowed you to pick up packages until 10pm, the list goes on and on. When they sold to Mission Rock, they fired half the staff, have upped my rent over $400/mo in the last 2 years, increased the parking fee, don't allow package pickup after 5pm, and charge you nearly double your base rent to go month to month. Mission Rock is disgusting. The apartment manager here is terrible as well. She revealed personal information about everyone in the complex to the entire complex once via email. She's been repeatedly rude to us. When your lease is up for renewal, they give you 10 days to decide even though the lease is good for 30 days from their notice. 10 days to A) Pay nearly double the rent, B) Move out, or C) Pay $200 more in rent per month for 12 months. I've been here since 2007, minus 1 year. This place was once great. It is no longer. It's sad.

Overall the experience was adequate; never had much issues with the management. The parking spaces were small but they have since been widened. The new paint job is nice. Close distance to the mall and the park (for me, these things made the experience more negative than positive). I found the ceilings to be far too low, and the kitchen far too narrow. The hallways were also very narrow. The bedrooms and bathrooms were reasonably sized. My unit was mostly carpeted (take what you will from that information) and the balcony was a nice touch. The lighting was not very "homey." For what you get, I think the rent is too high. There are some nice amenities, however, I didn't use them enough for it to be worth what I was paying (and all of those areas have been under construction for the last few months). Live here if you can afford it and if you think the amenities make the price worth it.

After a year of living here, I can't wait to get the hell out of this place. Not only are the apartments overpriced, but the maintenance is laughable, the appliances cheap, and the staff uncaring. I've had a door in the kitchen that keeps falling off, they've "repaired" it three times and I've had myself and a child injured by it. Guess what still isn't fixed because I'm tired of calling and having people strolling through my house to accomplish nothing. The dryer still doesn't dry, the washer needs a double or triple spin for every load. The ice maker still leaks and the freezer fan is almost louder than the off balance bathroom fan. The indoor pool and hot tub are great, when they are open and working. Don't be fooled. Find a better place.

This is the worst, most abysmal place I've ever had to live in. They broke the lease agreement in several ways (charging more for water sewer garbage, making themselves impossible to contact after hours because apparently every employee has a full voicemail inbox they never check). They also force you to comply with what they want. I move out in a month and they called me to do a move out inspection. I wasn't finished cleaning up the place (I was physically leaving the residence early, but my official move out date was a month later.) I told them no, so they decided to force it by using the "48 hour notice to enter apartment" route. These people are money sucking scum who do not deserve your money. Please do not rent from them. This is only one issue of many I've had at these apartments. Further issues include Garbage pickup at all hours. I've been woken up at 2 am by garbage/recycling trucks. Abysmal parking. The parking situation is a giant mess because they want to force you to pay for covered parking, making every other spot either inconvenient or giving very little availability. Very rude staff. All of them are deplorable. They comment on packages you receive when you go to the office, they constantly try to push extra costs onto you in the form of "added values" and they have the most ridiculous policies regarding your security deposit. (For some reason they HAVE to replace the carpet with every tenant??? And that costs hundreds of dollars??) Bullshit. They enter your apartment at least once a month over the most trivial things. (Once to install an outlet, then again a week later so someone can 'inspect the outlet' Stay out of my apartment please.) So basically, if you want to deal with rude staff, have strangers in your apartment every other week, enjoy them skirting the lease agreement and like not knowing how much your rent is each month, Apple Park is great. If you enjoy your sanity, stay away from these assholes. I'd give zero stars if I could.
