Great place to enjoy some delicious food in a casual atmosphere. This is just 2 of the items we ordered. All items are made when you order them so it isn’t fast food. It is good food made with pride and it takes time to bake a garlic pretzel loaf stuffed with cheese. It was well worth the wait. We ordered pretzel dogs which were delicious and several different sandwiches. There were 4 of us in our party so it gave us some time to sit and chat, quite a novel idea. They also have Stubborn craft soda, which is delicious and made with cane sugar. The Pretzel Haus is definitely worth the time. We need to support more small, local businesses like this. You can also call ahead and place your order so you don’t have to wait as long once you are there. Stop by and see Jay the manager, he has some great stories and will make you feel like you’re part of the pretzel family. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars.
Fresh & Fresh!! Let's start as you walk in and smell the fresh baked from scratch unique stuffed pretzel sandwiches, jumbo pretzels, and pretzel desserts. Next, the savory flavorful taste along with their fresh made dip sauces is a true experience. These Pretzel creations can only get better with beer and wine. Without doubt this is to be a new favorite place for Day Trips to/from Tampa Bay! Great place to gather with friends in its quaint, cozy, rustic industrial decor!! Highly recommended!! Features: Super clean and continuously maintained dining experience, coupled with friendly staff looking forward to greeting each and every person at a safe distance.
Yesterday was our 1st visit. I had seen a news segment awhile back and had been wanting to come try. We drove 59 miles to get here and I would do it again! We ordered the Greek and the Cuban and both were delicious. We got a Turkey Trott to go and are looking forward to having that for lunch today!! Vegetarian options: We got the Greek with spinach feta Parking: Plenty as it's in a strip mall Wheelchair accessibility: Tables not booths
I was hoping for an over the top version of Auntie Anne’s pretzels… but i was a bit let down. I would say A for effort, the pretzel is atleast huge for the price you pay & it does come out fresh.. but it’s a very doughy texture & lacks flavor.. I was hoping for an overwhelmingly buttery pretzel and this just didn’t deliver. Giving 3 stars because it is a cute little spot & clean, probably somewhere nice to meet for a lunch meeting or take someone to share as an appetizer. But I don’t think I would ever come back.
If this place is just opening, It's growing as they do into the Tampa market from the West Pasco market… offering pretzel sandwiches of many sorts and shareables to go along with any such pretzel accoutrements, such as beer cheese to a wild selection of mustards just for the dipping. They have 3 different pretzel desserts as well. I was told early on they expect to have a beer offering in the coming days.
Everything came out as ordered. My husband and I could have shared a Cuban... it was delicious. We also tried the Turkey trot and I liked it as well. Broccoli Slaw was good... not overly Creamy. We will be back to try more of the menu.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Pretzel Haus is serving up creations with a creative spin on everything Pretzel - Pretzel Pizza, Pretzel Sandwiches, Stuffed Dessert Pretzels, Pretzel Dogs, Pretzel Bites, Pretzel traditional style. This is a pretzel lovers heaven. The stuffed bacon cheeseburger Pretzel sandwich is a fresh made pretzel filled with lean sirloin burgers, bacon, and colby jack cheese. Served piping hot. The taste is just like a bacon cheeseburger mixed with the texture of pretzel. I found the meat a little too salty and the pretzel to be too thin. This wasn't my favorite. However this could be a favorite for bacon cheeseburger fans who prefer the bacon cheeseburger over the pretzel. The Buffalo Chick stuffed Pretzel is a fresh made pretzel stuffed with crispy chicken spun in buffalo sauce. This sandwich has a good balance of kick from the crispy Buffalo chicken and the doughy texture the pretzel pocket. This was a more delish sandwich of the two I had. The Apple Pie stuffed pretzel is a Pretzel Stuffed with apple pie filling. Topped with caramel drizzle and generous amounts of powdered sugar. This one is a super delicious combination of pretzel and sweet apple pie filling. This one is hard to put down. Once you start, you are hooked. Be ready to wait after you place your order. It took a good 15 minutes for the order to come through. This is not bad rather because your order is baked fresh. I went with Yelp friends so the wait was filled with fun conversations. The interior is pleasantly decorated, clean, and the seatings are comfortable but nothing that stands out. The staff were courteous however for a Saturday early dinner hours, were a little hard to get attention of, as they tended to congregate inside the kitchen. Another big suggestion is to make metal utensils available which would significantly help cut through the stuffed dessert pretzel. Plastics just don't 'cut' it here. I will return to taste their Stuffed Cuban Pretzel and the Nutella stuffed Pretzel.
Loved it! Got the Cuban and the Buffalo Chicken, both were delicious but I'd definitely go back for that Cuban. Apple pie dessert was yummy. Friendly service as well.
I really really really wanted to be able to give a great review here but I just can't. We entered on a Saturday evening around 6pm and heard one of the staff mention to someone else they were short staffed. This is understandable but everything that followed was not. We placed our order for a Greek sandwich and a Cuban sandwich and sat down. Over the next 53 minutes we sat and waited. About 40 minutes in the staff asked us if we ordered something we didn't and this repeated about three or four times with some of them being instances where they handed us someone else's food. Once we got our food it was totally lackluster. The Cuban was boring and the Greek seemed to be lacking all flavor. Also, the chips come out of a jumbo bag that you likely get from Costco, which again is fine but at the prices I think were a let down. The mustard bar is a joke and the theme of pretzels and pints doesn't exist yet as no beer. The staff never checked on us to see if we needed anything other than trying to pass off food that we didn't order. I write a fair bit of reviews and this may be one of my longest because I just felt after the That's So Tampa article I needed to inform people of our experience. Even when we left there was no acknowledgement by the staff and it was evident that we and everyone else in the establishment seemed very frustrated. I understand hospitality is struggling right now but sometimes you need to close the doors and deny additional customers until you can handle the ones you have. 53 minutes for two pretzel sandwiches is ridiculous and had we not had to pay in advance I may have walked out. I cannot recommend this establishment at this time.
The Turkey Trot - a turkey, bacon, ranch, and cheese stuffed pretzel sandwich. Yes, all of this is baked inside the pretzel! There was a bit of wait while the pretzel baked, but it was delicious. I would be tempted to go back to try many other pretzel items on their menu!
