The right presentation for the food was there but a sinister underlying problem with food quality was waiting to be discovered in the first bite. The omelette was beautiful but looked dry. And it was. But at least it cost a lot.  And the waitress must've been tongue tied for she had trouble smiling or pretending to be friendly. Maybe it has something to do with living and working in a tourist town whose winter time attraction seemed to skip the holiday season this year. Dunno. But for those prices and bland food, it seems like they could make you feel more at ease. But they didn't make the effort and seemed annoyed that they were open.

My wife had oatmeal that could've been used in a cat's litter box. Dry. Extremely dry.

Oh well. We won't be back.

Overall it was a great experience. We did have an issue with our seat placement as the morning sun bothered everyone who sat at our table and the one next to us. However, they kept trying to seat it.I would recommend bringing sunglasses in just in case you get the lucky table. We also had an issue with who was our server. A younger gal came over and got our drinks. An older lady came by to get the drink order and was confused when we told her we had someone grab the drink order.The older lady was not as attentive to us if we were her table.She did take our full order and left the check. Service needs to be improved. The wait was not long for us but a bit longer for others. Be prepared because it does seem to be the rave for breakfast. Waffles are a recommendation. Try it with the pick 2 combo, I had bacon baked in to mine...yummy.

Had the BEST breakfast here with my husband while visiting Tahoe! Looked like there were a lot of people outside waiting, but we only waited about 10 minutes and are SO happy we did! Staff was super-friendly all around and worked like rockstars back there getting the food out in record time even though they were packed! They definitely know what they're doing, and the avocado cheddar omelet w/ sourdough toast is scrumptious!! Wish they had one back home, but will just have to visit again when we're in town!

Not the biggest fan of breakfast food, but I love burgers with all the fixings. I ordered an avocado cheeseburger with some thousand island dressing on it. The lettuce was wilted & brown, meat was dry, chewy, and tasteless and the fries were unseasoned and just bland/ gross.
To top it off, my boyfriends coffee was burnt and disgusting and he only ate his BBQ burger because he was starving.
Also, our waitress was in her own world and had zero people or waitress skills. 
Overall a terrible experience. Won’t be returning. Waste of $30.
You’re better off going to McDonald’s, honestly, and I’m not even a big fan of McDonald’s.

Wonderful staff! Great selection, good prices, and delicious cornmeal pancakes ( breakfast served til closing) only a few blocks away. What more can you ask for?
