Learnt this the hard way.....Thrifty have both corporate and franchise locations.

This is a franchise location.  I was in a rental that had a mechanical problem about 200 miles away and I was not able to get a replacement from another Thrifty since they are not affiliated to corporate.

Drivign all the way back in the car was not fun wondering if we would make it.

Nice people, helpful (as best they can from 200 miles away)  but buyer beware.

Printed me rental agreement 3 times. Each time I noticed some stuff they wanted to fool me with. First, they included 100 free miles instead of 150 free miles. Second, they tried to convince me that Toyota Corola they brought me is my Cruiser PT that I've paid for. Interestingly, in my signed rental agreement they have put "Cruiser PT" for car name and Toyota Corola's license for plate number. That is a sort of a crime I guess. So beware.
