The sites are small I felt like I was in a wooded city, also I went down to the pool with my friends daughter and was told it was kids swim so I wasn't allowed to swim. I asked nicely to just jump in and out as it was hot and the fella told me NO! kids only. We were both a little upset about that. Otherwise its a nice campsite to visit from time to time and it is close to six flags great adventure.

This campground was beautiful and awesome! We are fairly new at camping and this place was the nicest place we've been to so far. Our campsite was perfect, wooded and spacious, the grounds were decorated so beautifully and the general store has everything you never needed! We compare every site to Timberland and nothing has compared. Highly recommend! I have never left a review for anything until now. My family and I have realized how helpful honest reviews can be. I did see the negative reviews but thankfully didn't listen. My site was literally next to one of the bath houses and I honestly don't know how someone felt it was disgusting. I was camping with my 71 yr old mother and sister, trust me it was fine. We recently stayed at a KOA in Jersey that was more like a parking lot than a campground and we wished we were back at Timberland. Honestly.

Y'all just don't know how good TLC was back in the day when Jim Fowler owned it. When you can swim in the lake. B4 the Elliott's owned it. B4 the Greens. From what I hear it gone down hill. I also hear the current owners remember me. I'm sure they were campers back when Jim owned it. May I ask, why did you let it go down hill

Most disgusting campground I have ever been to. Absolutely disgusting. I feel bad for myself because my family and I have to stay for the night. Bathrooms are totally disgusting. The "lake" next to the campground is more like a swamp. Would probably be more safe to clean yourself in the pool rather than showers. Staff is very nice, but campground is a dump.
