Nice, quiet place to stay. Cabins are clean, but could use some updating, particularly the bathrooms. Our cabin had a beautiful view of the lake. Good hiking trails.

The staff, at the info center, were very helpful and let us borrow some string to fly my daughter's kite. Got to see some deer while hiking and built some memories. Big thank you to the park.

Oh man.... Okay. So, we went there when it was still warm outside and we went on this nature trail through the woods. The sign said .5 miles, so we figured that's how long the trail was. Well, it wasn't. I think it meant to say 5 miles! We ended up getting lost in this peninsula and had to backtrack. Well, it got dark. And we were out there for about an hour and a half trying to find our way back to our vehicle. The only problem I have with this park is the sign was misleading, and I would like to see some sort of lighting on the trails for situations such as this. People do get lost, and even though it is recommended that you leave at sundown, that is not always the case. Maybe like those energy lamps you can find at dollar General or something. Something that will automatically come on when the sun goes down. Just a suggestion.

This is my favorite recreational area near my place. This State park includes hiking trails, two camp grounds, two pavilions, a marina and a nice golf course on the shore of Tim’s Ford Lake. Rental Kayaks, canoes and boats available. The paved bicycle trail is very nice!

Tims Ford is a great place to walk and relax. If you're looking for a break from your cell phone and life, take a trip to this park. Wildlife can easily be seen, and the views from the trails are gorgeous. XPLR this park for an amazing adventure that you won't soon forget. Pack a lunch and make it a day event. You won't regret it.
