My family has been frequenting this restaurant since they opened up. This WAS my family's favorite spot for more than 30 years!  Since new ownership has taken over it has gone down hill fast.  Ordered pork fried rice that arrived bland and with no pork . The owner was rude and unaccomidating.  Needless to say I will no longer be a patron of this restaurant. Don't waste your money it is not worth it!!!!!!

Growing up this was the nearest Chinese restaurant to my home, and I have very fond memories of it. So I was somewhat shocked when I started a new job in the neighborhood recently and decided to give them a try, and based on what I received vs. what the menu states I likely won't be back any time soon.

I ordered the Cantonese Chow Mein (pan fried noodle), which according to the menu comes with carrots, pea pods, bean sprouts, mushrooms (ordered without) and your choice of protein and a side of pan-fried crispy egg noodles. Instead, I received a quart-sized entree container that was easily 90% bean sprouts in a bland, nearly flavorless sauce with maybe 4 ounces of chicken, three carrot slices and four pea pods. The noodles were mostly unfried and covered in oil and almost burned on one side - as if the cook had grabbed a handful of noodles, threw them in a wok with some oil and forgot about them for five minutes. 

I ended up throwing over half of a $10 entree that should have been lunch for at least two days away. I hope the current management reads these reviews and heeds what people are saying, because if they keep turning out dishes like this they're going to be out of business in short order.

We've been coming to Tong Tong since it opened almost 40 years ago  We've always had great service and great food.   This area has a few Chinese restaurants, but Tong Tong is still our favorite.  Carry out is always quick and we've never had a wrong order.
