Fabulous experience!  Been looking for a new watch for a while and had visited another dealer who was nice but couldn't get what I wanted at a price I liked.  On a whim I made the drive here from the Madison area and couldn't be happier.  Incredibly nice place and the staff was so very friendly and welcoming (sadly not always the norm for higher end stores like this).  Had a great time trying on various pieces and finally settled on what I wanted.  Was able to get it for a great price and just had a great experience overall.  Their watchmaker came out and made sure the bracelet was adjusted right and that I didn't have any questions.  If you're looking for a Rolex, other fine watch, or jewelry anywhere in the Milwaukee/Madison area you should come here!  It was definitely worth the drive for me!

Love this place. I dont have much money but they treat everyone equal. Their watch makers also are very informed and do an excellent job on servicing watches.

I took my wife's TAG in for a new battery and was very impressed with both the service and the store.  Though I had a low cost transaction I was treated as well as if I was making a much larger purchase.

I own a pretty "run of the mill" mens Invicta watch ($80-$100) that had died on me and needed a new battery swapped in. I had been to a JC Penny's earlier hoping they could take care of it but they didn't want to ruin it and recommended I go to a more specialized jeweler. Enter Treiber & Straub Jewelers. Good reviews, looks fancy, I don't need anything special, thinking it will be ~$40. 

So I walk in and describe my situation to the employee, who then tells me I'll have to wait approximately 4 weeks to have my watch looked at... Four weeks. To take the casing apart and put a new battery in. She told me there is a waiting list for watch repairs and spouted off some fancy brand names I'll never see in my life due to my peasant status, claiming they take extraordinarily long to complete. I couldn't stress to her enough that I did not need or want a cleaning or anything more than a battery put into my watch but four weeks was her answer.

I stopped by the Time Square kiosk in the mall at Mayfair and it was on my wrist and ticking within 5 minutes of handing it to them.

tl/dr: Would not recommend if you aren't top 1% and/or don't own a Rolex.
