Story

Trident General Dentistry happily serves the dental needs of Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley and surrounding counties.

We are conveniently located just off of Interstate-526 on Dorchester Road, adjacent to the Dorchester Road Public Library, between the Zucker Middle School of Science and the Charleston International Airport.

If you're looking for an excellent dental practice, excellent customer service, very caring dentist who always takes the time to explain everything to you in detail and is excellent at what he does then definitely go see Dr. Casey Bennett at Trident General Dentistry. From the first time we walked in the door and the first time I saw him as a patient, I knew this was the Doctor and staff that I wanted for my entire family. The front office staff is also amazing as well as all the staff there.  it's so nice to go to a practice where everybody really goes out of their way, including the doctor to take care of all your needs. This practice and Dr. Bennett are awesome! Big five stars!

Highest recommendation for Trident General Dentistry. I've been coming here since 2007 when I moved from Ohio back to Charleston. 

I know live 50 miles away from this dental office but that doesn't stop me from returning. The staff is GREAT, and they do best is to create a hospitable environment to all guest. 

Clean and up to date facility, scheduling an appointment is a breeze with a very communicable receptionist team ensuring you get your reminders.

I love this office and my teeth and gums love them as well.

The team at Trident General Dentistry always does a great job!  Julie, hygienist, is gentle and thorough. On my recent visit for a crown Kayla showed her empathy by giving me feedback and progress information as she did her work. Dr. Layton has excellent technical skills. This practice has the latest technology, coupled with the skill to use it and genuine caring for the patients. Thank you so much Team Trident!

I had a great first experience at Trident General Dentistry today. They we're able to schedule me in short notice, and see me the next day after I called. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. Brenda was so sweet and comforting, as I was nervous that something was wrong with my mouth. Turns out I brush too hard. Dr. Bennett was very nice and took time to talk and explain everything on the x-rays and pictures. I even got a cute little welcome goody bag as I left, and of course a free toothbrush! I look forward to coming back in January for a cleaning!

I visited the North Charleston location and everyone at this office was extremely nice and helpful.  The only reason I did not give this dentist office 5 stars is that the building is old and outdated.  However, they have kept up with the times in regards to technology and dentistry advancements despite the age of the building.  I have been to several dentist in Atlanta & Columbia and found that the nicer the building and amenities, the bigger the bill and "problems" with my teeth.  So if you are looking for a great/honest dentist and staff, this is they place for you.  If you want to pay extra and have Kering coffee, modern facilities, and video games to play while you wait, then this is not the place for you.
