I frequently came here and always purchased a large smoothie and chicken bacon ranch but I added two cookies This day when I arrived the guy that would usually make the sandwiches was at register. Surprisingly. I placed my usual order and I noticed he was having a hard time placing my order. As he continued to ring, I noticed the ladies in the back who normally do the placing of the food order and smoothie. I took special notice of this because of the things I stated above. While ringing he asked me one question about my order " Whether I wanted bacon? My reply was yes never thinking he didn't get the rest of my order right. I even included a tip which I have being doing and of course it was included in my purchase as I used my card and not cash. I had some errands to run so I didn't look at my order before leaving. My fault. Once I realized my sandwich was wrong I immediately returned so that my sandwich could be made correctly. When I came back the guy was still at the register. I let him know my sandwich was wrong and he said did I place my order online. I said no you placed my order. He then said it wasn't his fault I asked for bacon, I said yes doesn't my sandwich come with bacon. He then wanted to continue to talk about how it wasn't his fault. I only wanted for my order to be made correctly. I didn't want the difference in money which the wrong sandwich was more. I just wanted my sandwich made correctly. He wanted to go back and forth with me about it wasn't his fault. At this point just give me my money back because I didn't come all the way back here for this nonsense. I just wanted my sandwich made correctly. He then went in the drawer to retrieve my money and while doing so, I asked for my tip money as well, he said I can't get my tip back. I left the location and as I was sitting in my car, I realized I didn't have the two cookies I purchased because it was in the bag with the wrong sandwich which was thrown in the trash. I returned to retrieve my money for the cookies. After waiting awhile I was finally refunded my money for the cookies. I vowed to never return to this location. As much as I frequent this location and had mishaps before, I never experienced this nonsense. I even bragged about this company but not anymore
I gave Tropical Smoothie Cafe at Golden Ring 2 stars because they messed up my order and wouldn't fix it. This was only my second time there but if they are not going to right a wrong I may not want to go back again. I would encourage anyone desiring to order from this establishment to ensure they COMPLETELY understand what you are ordering BEFORE you give them your money.
Roach was found inside my smoothie. Smoothies are made with the same blenders that touch every other smoothie. They just rinse the blender then toss it back onto the other ones, it looks gross. My smoothie even had a weird after taste. I don’t like this smoothie cafe at all or the workers here. Owner is a weirdo and the workers are stuck up.
My smoothie was great. The size of the smoothie makes so you can drink it throughout your day. The wrap was ok. The reason this gets a 4 star instead of 5 is because of the wrap. The tortilla took away from the wrap. There is so many layers of it that it made the contents of the wrap less enjoyable. I ended up deconstructing the wrap and cutting the tortilla in half. After that it was great. Next time I will get a bowl.
Ok, so this is one of the best treats you will have. I've had the best smoothies and treats here. So far I've had the Blueberry Bliss, Mango Madness, Maple Kissed Sweet Potatoes, Jalapeno Corn, Fresh Fruits and the Peanut Butter Banana Crunch Flatbread! Omg! Try all of these and others. What I love is you can get them with or without sugar or sweetener with lower cal. I'm on the road a lot and this is a great way to enjoy something delicious, healthy and not eat the junk food I use to eat. The atmosphere is clean and friendly staff!
My first time here, it was very eye opening the different items for healthy foods, very good place if you are a health conscious person and my sandwich was very good.Food: 5/5
The food and the smoothies were good but the service was not! I went there because coupons came in the mail and this location told us that they don't take coupons. I should have left but had already ordered. Thats not good business and we will not be returning. They even told us to go to Dundalk and use our coupons, they said that location does not accept coupons.
I love tropical smoothie. Not this location though. The manager is garbage. They ran a promotion October 13th in which I spun a wheel and recieved a ticket for a free smoothie. I was kind of skeptical about it because the employee scratched off the buy one get one free part and just scribbled her name in the back. Tried to use it today manager automatically assumed I was just trying to get a free product and basically laughed at the coupon. I often go to Waugh chapel location and I love the smoothies I have no problem spending money because its worth it. Since I was in the area which isnt often I figured I'd use the coupon. Wont be back. Update: To the owner definitely not the wrong location if you all are by the Walmart in golden ring next to the shoe store I know where I was just left there about an hour ago. I used to live in Odenton and only came to this location to treat my neices who live in Sparrows point there happened to be some promotion going on that day. Again horrible management I'll stick the Waugh Chapel and Glen Burnie locations. Clearly had a conversation with neice about the day before. So instead of trying to not make yourself look bad work on your people skills. Thank you have a great day.
Unwelcoming customer service. Waiter was very impatient and rude. Avoid this place or order online to avoid dealing with negative customer service.
The people here are very friendly they got my order right and they were quick. The green island smoothie was great. Thanks team. A lid for the blender fell to the floor and the guy picked it up and put it inthe sink. He turned on the hot water and immediately cleaned the lid. Rinsed it and put it on leadge to dry. Way to go team excellent thing to do I feel that they are doing the right thing for cleansing and my safety. Great experience.
