I don't go to bars, and their when I have been.
I have been asked to leave!
Not allowed to sit outside of the bar, in their smoking area; or use the public restroom!
I have been given water, And directed to knowledge about someone who is one of their locals. More times than not!

This is a nice dive bar with some very interesting staff and clients.  No food to speak of (just chips and the like) but they will order Mexican from next door for you and have brought it over to you. Drink prices at Tropics are affordable and they some choices of entertainment including a pool table.

Great family owned bar since 1945, if you like dive bars then this is the watering hole for you! The Tropics is a Redding staple when it comes to drinking establishments cheers🍻
