I have used this post office five times now and three of those visits I interacted with customer service. They are usually pretty busy but keep the line moving well. The place is always clean and they keep the free flat rate shipping boxes well stocked. They have always answered my questions, scanned my packages so I can get a receipt, and been very friendly and polite. One of the better post offices in Salem. I have been to each one since I ship about 10-20 packages a month. I generally choose my post office by where I'm doing errands for the day.

I have had several packages lost at this store. I have never experienced a post office losing my packages and mail. This post office has lost many shipments and important documents. Some were found IN THE SHIPPING ROOM buried under what a worker described as "random items." The phone does not work and when I have gone in person, the workers have been angry with me for coming in and asking questions, even though I am the one who has not been able to reach service staff, has had my packages disappear, and has had to make the drive over to see what is going on. This is a disgrace and extremely frustrating.

Not only is the customer service in the garbage there mail carriers don't even have enough intelligence to deliver mail and packages where they properly go

Worst customer service experience ever. Called and the first two times was sent to an answering machine, finally got a person and was put on hold for 15 minutes until I finally hung up. Called back and didn't even get a chance to say hi before I was thrown back on hold. I know it takes an act of God to fire a government employee but at least PRETEND to try to work...
