If I could give 0 stars I will, the staff need customer service training immediately. The walk up windows are cracked up because I am sure someone would like to come through the glass because they talk to you with no respect. The worst Post Office ever, I hope the city provide Ward 8 with a better Post Office staff because the customer staff is so bad.

They can care less about customer service or overall customer experience. They literally drag their feet when assisting someone. One lady kept yelling saying she was on lunch at 4:50pm and they close at 5pm. The nerve.

I visited this location for an entire week to pick up my mail on hold. They kept telling me it wasn't there after I spoke to my mail carrier and she informed me that she personally took it there. I had to get a Supervisor involved from the hold location and placed her on the phone with an employee at this location. While they were on the phone I asked another lady if I she could check other names in my household. The lady found my mail in less than 3 mins after I gave her the names and neither of the names were on the cover of my mail, but my name was. SMH

The elderly lady that sits at the first booth from left to right is down right evil! She has absolutely no patience and she lacks customer service skills. While speaking with her she kept pushing me off and as I would ask her to explain things to me that I was unfamiliar with, she would get loud and short. I had to remind her that I am a customer and it's her job to inform me of what I don't know regarding their processes. She then lowered her tone and provided me with the requested details.

The clerks are surly, and I have continuing problems with package delivery. First, carriers often don't leave receipts for packages not. delivered. Second, they mislay packages (often those with high insurance values.) Last instance, a $200 package was filed under an incorrect name. I came in & requested it for two weeks. The carrier was finally notified &she found it-- under the wrong name. This morning, I tracked a $500 package & saw the carrier tried to deliver it yesterday. No receipt was left. I called the direct # of the PO. Of course, there was a message saying you couldn't leave messages, to press 0 for an attendant. I pressed 0 & got a message saying no attendant had been assigned to the number. Wonder what name they filed my package under this time?

No one answers the phone I have been calling since 8 this morning to find out why we haven't seen a mailman on R street since last Thursday!! If no mail is delivered today I'm contacting Fox 5 news
