I am so over this place. This must be the worst distribution center in the entire world. Every single time my package gets stuck there or something goes wrong. What is going on? Who works there??? This is not okay. I will never have anything shipped usps. Ever. Wish i could give 0 stars. Does not even deserve 1.

This place deserves zero stars. In any case, just as other reviews say, this place is terribly run, as is evidence, with these reviews, as well as Facebook posts. There's theft being committed by the employees here. There's no other explanation for mail not being delivered, days and weeks after it should've arrived to its destination. This facility needs to be investigated for the felony of theft and the employees responsible, need to be arrested, punished and held accountable for committing a criminal act. After trying to get answers for the past month, regarding my mail that never arrived to its destination, I was told there are numerous issues/complaints with this facility, so, clearly, this place needs to be investigated. I regret not paying more and using FedEx or Ups, because I've never had an issue with those places before. It's completely unacceptable that employees would do this and be able to get away with this. My package never left this Palatine shipping distribution center, so, STEER CLEAR of this place, unless you want your stuff stolen! I just hope that management isn't complicit in what's going on here. My hunch is that it must be easy to steal here, since it's a big warehouse, versus a very secure post office building, which has cameras everywhere.

It's okay. This USPS is not that bad. But they really need some upgrades. They need to work out more faster than they are right now. Very slow work going on this Service Center... Still I never missed any of my mails. Thanks!

I often have a package “stuck” at the Palatine facility. And then to add to that, you can’t get a hold of anyone to get the issue addressed. If you do get a hold of someone, they can’t find an answer! How is this ok? I used to prefer USPS over the other transport services, now I try to avoid it because of the issues that I specified.

This place is horrible! Every time my packages go through Oak Creek, WI they go in and go out of the facility within 12 hours. This facility in Palatine is complete garbage they are slower than hell. I have had 3 packages go through there this week one arrived on wednesday and is still there today one monday. Really 5 days in a sorting facility is stupid. other two packages arrived on saturday and are still stuck there.
