While the staff inside are very courteous, and I have no complaints regarding them, the delivery staff are terrible. This afternoon I heard my doorbell ring, and upon getting up and checking the door found no one and nothing there. About 5 minutes later I received a notification stating that my package couldn't be delivered due to no one being home or no access to the door. The delivery person rang my bell and walked away. Does it get much lazier?

My whole apartment building hasn't been receiving mail. I called the 1 800 number and got mail the next day. But since then I haven't got a thing. I went down to the post office to ask what's going on and they said our mail was being delivered. Today still no mail. The number for the post office just rings and rings. I call the 1 800 number and I've been on hold for over a hour. Obviously our postal person isn't doing their job. I'm pissed off and this isn't okay. People rely on the mail for bills and other stuff. I want answers on where my mail is.

I have mailed several letters with important documents and they NEVER arrive at their destination! I'm so frustrated beyond words!!! I'm out money for the items being mailed and the postage to mail them!!! There is something drastically WRONG with this. You mail your items trusting that they will arrive at their intended destination and to find out that they never got there! This should be a crime to take peoples money and not deliver what they pay for!!!!!!!!!!!

Scheduled redelivery and was home and mailman didn't even attempt to deliver.  I was on hold 45 minutes to file a complaint.  They gave me a number to call which there was no answer.  This is twice I have been home when my mailman left a note in the mailbox he wasnt able to deliver!  Who is the general manager of the Rockford Post offices?

It's fine if you want to drive there, but I dare you to get someone to answer the phone.   The main number actually rings busy, or answers and the recording says no one is available, please call later.

Try Cherry Valley or the other post offices in Rockford........a human answers on first ring.  Unfortunately, Harrison is the post office for my area.   Worthless.
