ETA since review 6 months ago: Thanks to the new "Informed Delivery" service, I can now see just how much mail I'm NOT getting delivered by Maple Grove Post Office. In the last two weeks, I have had four pieces of mail that were supposed to be delivered and weren't -- and three of them were financial statements. Which have never been re-delivered. So now I have to worry about ID theft and other loss because the MG post office can't seem to hire people who can read numbers. The junk mail seems to make it through. It's time for a higher agency to get involved. Original review: If you live in Maple Grove and get mail here, you'd be well advised to get a post office box in another town, perhaps Plymouth. You won't be alone, as I've had people in other post offices comment on how many Maple Grove people they get because of the poor service in Maple Grove. It is a rare day when I don't get someone else's mail (and this has included bills and paychecks) because the delivery people screw up so often. Today was another four pieces of mail that belong to someone else, no idea where mine is. It's been like this as long as I've lived in Maple Grove, and been reported often, but they don't seem to have any accountability or concern over it.

Inconsistencies in pricing doesn't follow their online pricing guides. My big issue is really that whether or not a package or envelope is safe to send depends on who touches it. Does it fit through the envelop slot "yes" is it machinable "yes" or "no" what extra charges do we request? It should be a simple process but it is apparently not. If you check online, use their kiosk or ask staff to check if it will be okay as an envelope be ready to hear back A WEEK LATER that it wasn't. Looking at the other reviews I'm not the only one wishing there were some new management and training. DRIVE ELSEWHERE to mail anything! Even non rigid envelops, 1oz or less with less than 1/4" thickness variation of standard size are at risk so good luck with everything else.

Horrible customer service. It took 4 weeks to figure out how to put mail in my mailbox and then they would only deliver every other day. I've gone in 4 times and called probably 12 and get the same runaround. Get your act together and deliver my mail! And don't be a smarta@@ on the phone when I ask why I'm not getting mail. I get that people don't get mail everyday....but I know I get mail more than every other day. And pick up my outgoing mail!! It's been in there for 3 days now!!

I concur with the other reviewers - the people at this location, especially Erin Nielson, are extremely rude. I came to Erin with a concern about the fact that my paper "hold mail" notice that was wrapped around my mail at the end of my hold period contained the name & address of someone else on the back of it. It was obvious the post office had re-used a document in their printer to print out my hold notice. This, in my opinion, is a violation of the person's privacy whose name appeared on the back of my document. I was trying to express this concern to Erin and told her I wouldn't want my name and address on someone else's document (think fraud, identity theft, etc.), but Erin blew off my concern and acted like I was bothering her. She was extremely rude and short with me after I had stood in line for about 5 minutes while she was helping the person in front of me. I told her I wanted to speak to someone above her because I didn't appreciate how she was acting toward me and she just replied "There's nobody else here. You have to call the 1-877 number." She then reached over my head (yes, literally over my head as though I was totally insignificant) to help the person behind me with his package. And when I told her she was rude, she said "thank you." This is totally abhorrent behavior and the USPS should not allow someone like this to represent them. I wonder how behavior like this helps the USPS gain more business. I will never use USPS to deliver anything in the future. Wonder how long this location will remain in business with employees like her!

Have never had a bad experience at a postal office until I came to this location Bruce is hands down the worst employee I have ever met in any field. Horrible customer service, was very rude to me and other customers in line. I've actually have never written a bad review before but Jesus Christ they are some bad employees. Fire them and restaff.
