Great place for Trauma. Family member was in a bad accident on 280 and went to this hospital. It's a phenomenal trauma center and the trauma team. For day to day operations. . . the clinics and the doctors and staff . . . a lot to be desired. I sat in the waiting room on G level and I level and watched the maintenance workers go in there and stay for the 2 hours I waited. It caught my eye because the trash bins in the hallway was overflowing and in my sister's room. I just shook my head. Then just from observation I saw the police who was "supposed" to be monitoring a room (I guess an inmate or something) he went off in the hallway flirting with one of the nursing assistants. While I was not involved in this direct care, I was just appalled that this hospital does not hold their workers accountable. Cameras seem to be everywhere but apparently no one is watching them. After discharge we followed up at the clinics and again, just getting an obstacle course. Numbers are wrong, doctors unknown, appointments scheduled 6 weeks away due to limited availability . . . then I got an appointment finally for one of my doctors - DOC 7700 we had to stand in the hallway. I have pictures. At least 30 patients were standing in the hallway. This is not how you treat people.

i have to remind myself that this is a teaching hospital. So many residents. I think the residents should have name tags that say "residents" It's hard to tell who is who. It's soooooo many students in your room. This place has come a long way but little things make a difference 1) HIPPA is real. Stop discussing people in elevators. Cover paperwork with PHI. 2) If your employees smoke weed or drink alcohol, they shouldn't come to work smelling like they bathed in it. 3) fix your phone lines. I look on the web for my doctor's numbers out of my 7 doctors, ALL ALL ALL of the numbers are wrong. The operators are clueless. I even mailed a letter and it went to the wrong department 4) if my Resident happens to be my primary PLEASE PROVIDE A CONTACT NUMBER FOR THEM ON AND OFF ROTATION. I have a new doctor every three months. Its horrible. 5) Communicate with the pharmacies!!!! Again the doctor who writes my scripts leaves on rotation and the pharmacy can't seem to find them anywhere!! IF A RESIDENT CALLS IN A PRESCRIPTION HAVE THE MAIN DOCTOR ON THE SCRIPT!!! Its so frustrating dealing with a bunch of residents and students.

my first impression of the hospital was amazing! I had been there a couple of times with my aunt and her doctors where very professional, and I can’t complain about the patient care she received. For this reason when I felt ill, I decided to go to the ER in this hospital. At first everything seemed ok, I went to the triage, took my Vitals, my info and asked me the reason for my visit. I told them I had chest pain and was having difficulting breathing because of a nasty cough. I was running a low grade fever and the nurse sent me to their “fast track”. The fast track had only four people ahead of me so I thought it would be quick. Little did I know that I was going to be sitting there for 3 hours before they found me a bed. But I didn’t think any of it, it is an ER after all, right? Well when I finally got a bed, the doctor took a little while to come to me and I had been having trouble breathing for over 3 hours and my fever was probably getting higher at this point. No one took my vitals again! I got no medication for my fever, nothing to open up my air ways, And no pain medication at least for my chest pain. The doctor finally came and said the were going to give me an X-ray to check up my lungs and do a flu test. But before the X-ray it is protocol to give you a pregnancy test because the X-ray could hurt the baby if the person might be pregnant and not know it. 2 hours later the nurse comes and takes me to the X-ray station, but have in mind they never did the pregnancy test but I didn’t say anything because I was sure I wasn’t pregnant and if I opened my mouth the freaking X-ray would have probably taken even longer and I didn’t want to be in this hospital one more minute! Well, they took the X-ray and took me back to the ER. Sat for another 2 hours and no one came. I came to notice that their “fast track” only had ONE DOCTOR!!! And two nurses for a whole floor of emergency patients!! Still with pain, and still having difficulty to breath I got up and looked for someone because I thought they had forgotten about me ! Well they did, indeed! The nirse completely Clueless asks me if I already got the X-ray! And I said yes! And never got the pregnancy test ! But don’t worry! I know I’m not pregnant! But if I am, I guess you just got your hospital into a lawsuit if the baby comes with any damage due to the X-ray, and smiled. She said she was going to look for the doctor and they finally checked my results and told me I had nothing that I could go!!! I wanted to kill all of them. After 7 freaking hours at the hospital, got Home with a higher fever & still having trouble breathing, because no one gave me something to help the breathing, and since no one took my vitals either, my fever just got higher and I received no medication to bring it down. That hospital its just filled with incompetent nurses, that have absolutely no bedside manner and definitely don’t know how to take care of their patients. Never again!

My mother went to the ER on 09.10.17 at 10 am, they took blood samples and told her to wait in the waiting area. She waited until 5pm!! ...and ended up leaving. While she was there waiting there were some people who were there since the day before STILL waiting to be seen. This is ridiculous. This place does not care nor do they take their patients seriously. I read the reviews online and most of them are negative... Great reputation

The worst service possible, the workers are very rude and slow. If you can avoid this hospital please do. I have been waiting since 3PM & it’s 8PM & I haven’t seen not one doctor. The hospital is very nice but the workers are horrible and the service is very horrible. The workers called security on the patients because the patients were complaining.
