Nurses and Assistants are outstanding! Very professional, people-oriented and trustworthy. They go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Most physicians are useless. Some of them they come, say hello and leave then you will see a huge insurance bill. Administration is zero and this is a hospital that wants to become a magnet hospital. Was admitted on a Saturday and was not given a room with shower. Had to use my imagination to clean myself and every time they would tell you, we will find you a room with a shower you could forget about it. The Nurses and Assistants are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the rest I don’t know.

Haggled by irresponsible staff. When we got to the er a very nervous guy employed probably to aide with check in at the entrance door(his shift was on 1/29/18 at 1 pm) in the emergency drive up entrance decided he didn't like us stopping where we did for 3 minutes (mind you we did not block anything or anyone that needed to get help, we only dropped off my mother who has difficulty walking and was weak and feeling ill) That made the visit unnecessary nervous and I observed the guy with other patients as well and I think he was abysmal. The nurses didn't let my mother sit, while she was being checked in. We waited 2 hours for being admitted and then another 3 for getting test results. We didn't see a real doctor, only some intern, who did not react to most of the things I told her about my mothers condition. But she was very fast to book us an appointment with my mothers doctor for the next day and wanted to send us home. No electrolyte drip to replenish fluids was administered. But needed due to sever diarrhea. Oh, and they couldn't even spare a one lousy iron supplement, a single tablet to give to her for the drive to Walgreen, where I would be able to purchase my own bottle. This place SUCKS.

I had laryngoscopy done here. Same day surgery staff was friendly and Heather my nurse was awesome. I was so nervous and she made me feel at ease. When I went into operation room staff made me at ease explaining what they were going do. Next thing I knew I was out and in recover. Nurse was again friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the welcoming of the staff and hospitality. Dierdre Scott, Kathleen a. Michelle and Helen z RN. Thank you! I would recommend comming here.

I had a terrible experience at St.Barnabas, brought my daughter in to ER be treated, while under meds she was taken for X-rays, radiologist ( tech ) removed her necklace, told her no chains. After her test he never return her chain, he had transportation come take her back to room. While calling back to radiology department her chain was missing. This is disgusting how employee would take advantage of someone while being ill. She can't get cured while feeling so nervous and anxiety about the thought this place where you should feel like you can trust your care givers. I have yet to hear from someone to advise me the process of replacement. Warning don't wear jewelry when going to this place .. Employees steal patients jewelry which is distasteful .. I would not recommend
