This place is acceptable. Nothing too bad cones to mind. It could really use a facelift. With occasional problems arising for different guests, it feels like it's just a patchwork job. Regardless, it's clean and feels safe to sleep in.

Mattress are uncomfortable, pillows are flat. Can't control room temperature. Please please check for bed bugs. At least you are on base and safe. I've slept in worse.

Here is what I and my family have experienced at Maxwell AFB extended stay lodging in 2 different rooms (4 mo., 2 yr., 46 yr., and 27 yr. old) :
Roaches, mice, ants and their droppings found daily in/ on beds, floors, towels, cabinetry, dishes, and the furniture. Food being thrown away because ants are in the CLOSED boxes. The mice come out to the center of the floor while we are warching TV and run over you thats additional to being attached by the ants. No heat, drafts through warped exterior doors, doors coming apart, toilets that won't flush, the tub cold water is actually the hot and hot is cold, exhaust fan louder than my car, stains on the furniture, large baseball sized rusted areas inside the microwave and let's not forget to mention the large area next to the bed of matted carpet with a strong vomit aroma. 

To this day even with maintenance, front desk and house keeping involved and being moved nothing, not one thing has been resolved. They said they will try to have the carpet shampooed, maintenance sprayed 2 of the seven rooms for the ants, oh and the ceiling above our water bottles we were drinking out of. I fixed the toilet and the thermostat in the room we were moved to so we could have heat which is why we were moved, the 1st room didn't have heat. 

There is more but I believe the point has been made. This situation could be worse. Thank you to House Keeping and Shanilla at the front desk for being so sympathetic and polite and doing what you could to help out. 

I own several rental properties and do not expect or tolerate my Tenants living in these conditions. I am beside myself not only my children but our military have to live in an US military base facility with these conditions.

The staff was friendly and helpful.  My room was nice. My door was difficult to close and the heat was loud,  but overall, nice stay.

The rooms are spacious and fully equipped. You can walk to any of the school houses, the library, the OTS shoppette, and the gym.
