The employees can be very helpful as long as you are not a jerk. Take responsibility for your own actions and remember that the people you deal did not make the rules so don't get pissed at them. Parking sucks, yeah, so come earlier, take trax, or walk. Online is also a nice option if it doesn't have to happen immediately. FYI document your transactions because things CAN get lost or put in wrong. The Parking Enforcement Officers are my favorite people to deal with! Very friendly, courteous and kind!

The commuter services at the U seriously need some working. The only attitude you get from them is like theyre the main source of revenue for the university which is absolutely ridiculous. Your job should be to prevent kids/visitors from parking like crazy, not trying to mob a lucrative company out of parking tickets. There’s a difference between the two. A warning goes far and wide; improve the fees and communication/forgiveness boundary. Change the policy U—

They ticketed my wife's car because she parked in an area with no permanent and/or visible signing. I applied for the ticket to be appealed, and they said there was visible signing in every single stall. I have pictures from the day of, the next day, and the following several days. They had no idea where she had even parked, so to say there was signage is total B.S. As of 11/15/2017, there are no permanent, visible, posted signs to the east parking lot of North Medical Tower. Lousy, crooked system. I'm sure I'll lose the more formal appeal, even though my wife only parked where she did because she didn't feel safe parking where she normally does up by Red Butte, in light of recent, unfortunate circumstances. Oh wait!! Maybe this non-permanent, non-visible sign was what they were talking about?? (small black thing on the ground next to the curb).

I would give these guys a 0 star rating if I could since they're so bad. All they do is patrol the lots waiting to bone someone as soon as they get the chance. Don't we already pay enough in tuition and permits already? Plus they're so dumb they print their receipts in landscape. Who does that? Also don't bother appealing anything because the appeals committee sides with the University 100% of the time.

I wish I could give them 0.5 stars. You pay for a typical student parking pass (U) and you're not guaranteed to find anything. I've spent over 45 minutes finding a spot over the last 3 days. And I still had to use a pay stall today. If you have an alimni/teacher (A) pass there are plenty of spaces, they are never full. I've never seen that once the years I've been here. The University seems to have no problem finding room to expand and build giant structures, but there's simply no room for parking. Students are definitely the lowest priority at the University of Utah.
