This is the worst post office ever. I receive more mail belonging to others than my own. They’ve lost more packages until I no longer have packages delivered there. The best feature is the 24 hour availability to check your box.

Yesterday, I got up early so that I could take my grandson to fill out the application for his passport. I was the first person in line and I was feeling good. There was a couple with two kids renewing their passport, so the postal worker lady took them while I filled out the application.  Meanwhile, the male postal worker is finally ready to work, so he calls a name off the list (Quentin). Well that is not my grandsons name. So, I kindly said "excuse me I'm next, I'm the first one on the list and that is not my grandson's name". He said " DC Public Schools taught him how to READ".Then he called out another name (Sara). So, I got up and pointed out and said my grandson's name (his name is not Quentin) and then stated "DC PUBLIC SCHOOLS TAUGHT YOU TO WHAT?" He gives the United Postal Service a bad name. There was no reason for him to be so nasty. However, the lady postal worker was more than nice and completed the application process. I don't know her name, but shout out to her. THANKS

My package was lost. I made a report. They NEVER contacted me until 3 months AFTER It was finally delivered.  And now 6 months later they keep emailing me that they are still looking for it. ............I signed up for informed delivery, I asked customer service if hand written letters would be included in this. She said yes. I have received many hand written letters and NONE have been included in this informed delivery service..............I received an envelope package  from amazon. It was COMPLETELY empty. I contacted post office, they emailed me back We will escalate  this to a local office and someone will contact you in 2-4 days. Well its been 5 weeks and I am  still waiting...........Try to call usps customer service? Do you have an hour to wait on hold???....Do they answer online????NO.....This place must be full of clowns, what other answer is there?....I cant wait, I hope I am  alive to see the day the USPS goes bankrupt...I hope I can see that day... Technology will make that happen one day....You guys dont deserve a job you are a disgrace

Would have given them zero stars if possible. All the employees here are either yelling or not working or both. Employees are rude and nasty. One female employee visibly had a blue tooth headphone in and was talking on the phone with it. Another female employee was audibly yelling at a customer that they have given her the wrong zip code by giving them his and not the zip code where the package was going. What a disgrace that these people have a cushy federal job and act like animals towards the customers.

something is wrong with this post office. i never get my mail. when i do receive packages they are literally thrown into the yard. it is obvious the mailman or mailwoman does not enter the yard. i have lost important mail but wait time to speak on the phone is over an hour. the employees are rude and illmannered. i HATE dealing with these people.
