Walk in for my SSN new applications. Get the number, fill the form and wait for my turn. Less then 20Mins. Very fast.

I went to the Social security office the 1st time and the line was too long
The 2nd time I went when opened there DOORS and was number 5 
That office is extremely busy. 
Now the 1-800 number is a total disappointment for me any way
Hopefully things work out for me this time
Any prayer warriors out there please put me in your prayers

Went to this office today(8-17) after calling the 800 number. I have an appoifor August 29 but was advised that I would be seen. The lady at the window wouldn't even let me tell her what I was there for. Just told Tha I couldn't be seen because they were understaffed. I think She didn't feel like working.
