Beautiful campground. Some spaces are tricky to get in. Once set up very private. There are 4 bridges over the creek that meanders throughout the park. Kids love them

What a beautiful campground! Site on creek. Can drive to Grayson Highlands, Big Walker Mountain, all over in Jefferson National Forest for great hiking. We will be back!

I live in Wytheville, so Stony Fork campground is very close for me. It is one of my favorite places to camp because it's easy to find, has a variety campsites and bathhouses with hot showers. They also have a 1 mile nature trail that joins a longer trail up the mountain. Another plus: very reasonable fees. :-)

This quiet family campground is a real treasure! There's not a bad site in the campground! Most of the sites have water and/or electric, all have picnic tables and fire rings and gorgeous views. The stream that wanders through the park is lovely, and youngsters appreciate fishing there and splashing in the cool, clear water. Our campground hosts were awesome! Charlotte and Gary from Florida made us feel right at home, and they are perfectionists when it comes to keeping the place clean and tidy. Highly encourage reservations during peak foliage season. It's an easy drive to the Virginia Creeper Trail in Damascus, VA if that's on your list. (Which I strongly suggest, as well!) I highly recommend the US Stony Fork Campground.
