It's just beautiful! The Tina in the office is so friendly and helpful, Mitch the maintenance man is always around to help, the views are amazing. We've camped at several places but this KOA has the cleanest bathrooms, always on top of making sure everything is kept up with, and just all around my favorite camping experience!

Nice like getaway tucked away in the mountains of Stanton. This wasn't the best place for tent camping, but campground was well maintain, the facilities were really good and the lake does have fish it it...I think. Tons of good options for camper and RV camping and there are events and activities for the kids.

I had a lovely time here. There are plenty of bathrooms and showers available to everyone, there's a nice little pool, and it's family friendly. There's even a friendly little cat that hangs out near the bathroom. I meowed at this cat and it came to sit on my lap for a few minutes. I would have enjoyed staying longer.

Beautiful place, but no working showers when we were there and no sewer connection in our spot we had to choose when arriving after hours. Also it is kind of far off of the interstate to actually get there.

This was a grest place. We were suppose to tent, but when we got there there was flooding warnings because it was raining so much. So we decided to upgrade to the rustic cabins. (K2) They were very nice about us wanting to upgrade and had no problem with it, and was only about 11 dollars more. They were nice inside with a mini fridge, twin bunk beds and a full size bed (I think). In the rustic camping cabins they don't give you bedding. But that's normal and we were planning to tent anyways so we already had blankets and pillows. The warrned us about stink bugs being in the cabin. There was some and they kept getting in when we put the outside, we figured out there a small crack in the windows on the top and you just have to put the screen part up to the top part of the window. It wasn't bad at all. There was also an AC and a space heater depending when your staying there. The bathrooms very nice and clean. There was a cute and friendly orange and white cat hanging out side of them, he was doing a great job patrolling the area.
