Free with park fee. Lots of original items recovered from the boat. You'll spend at least 20 minutes here. Good place for restroom stop while in the park. Nice parking lot and next to cemetery.

The Cairo Museum is really interesting. You can walk on the ship and see how it worked. There is also a museum indoors that has a lot of items that were recovered when the ship was brought up from the Mississippi river bottom. I would definitely recommend stopping and checking it out.

Loved this place. To see and to get that close to an old iron clad ship is really neat. The museum was lackluster, but not bad.

This was a place I have wanted to visit for a long time and it didn't dissapoint. They let you get on the only remaining city class gun boat! It has a nice museum right next to it, which is all about iron class and sailors. Plus picnic tables scattered around to eat at.
