No one seems to know what they are doing and every time I have to talk to someone I get a different answer than what I got from the last person. I am beyond frustrated that I am unable to get what I need done since it seems none of them know how to do their job.

Their office is pretty good, they have computers for you to seek employment, or just any business that needs to be done, such as medical and school. If you need to print, fax or make copies then that can be done..do whatever you need to do as long as you need to. The personnel there was nice, helped me out when I asked for help. Now....sometimes you can overhear them speaking about very small things...like "I brought these earrings and I don't like them!" or " When I go bowling it was the worst!"...not really positive things...but they complain among themselves...which I don't care much about, but others that hear it will. The VERY ODD thing in the Price office is this: There are phones in their offices that can be used to call Workforce Services REPS. I call the Workforce Services many times to speak with a REP about Food Stamps, or Medical Benefits(These REPS are at various locations in UTAH). The REPS ask you questions and speak about your case on the phone.......BUT in the Price Office there's a section where employees reside, who answer phones ALL DAY, and speak the SAME EXACT WAY the very REPS I speak to over the phone. So....when you call a Rep...the Rep could be a few feet away from you...on the phone...with you. Very Strange...

I've never had a problem or reason to complain.

I've been interacting with this office for a few months now while I've been out of work. Considering who they work with, I would expect them to be of a more positive disposition. Generally, it seems that everyone is not happy to be there and you can just feel it as you walk in. I guess we're just supposed to accept it because it's another government agency? This is the only format I feel like I can get my voice out where it might help others. Just know that it feels just like going to the DMV or any other government agency.

I can't imagine how a State can be so inept, mismanaged, and so extremely impossible to find anyone or any thing as inefficient and worthless than the Department of Workforce Services and that includes their website, that is supposed to aid an unemployed person by providing electronic assistance for seeking employment or trying to obtain assist for workmen's compensation. If the leaders of this State continue to allow these overpaid and supercilious employees, who are paid to provide help to the States work force, to sit on their butts and do nothing, then the State of Utah is going to melt down and this totally worthless Department will be out of work themselves. Gary Herbert should be ashamed!!
