As a retired nurse I understand both sides of the situation. My sister was told to go there because she needed to be admitted. We sat there for 3 hours and never saw a doctor or nurse . Finally a male nurse comes in to start an iv after 3 tries his 4th time he said he got it in but it infiltrated. Had to be done again by someone else. I had to finally leave and what I saw was astounding. There were at least 6 RN's sitting at the nurses station on computers no eye contact. I had to look at the assignment chart on wall to find out who was her nurse. After calling his name 3X he spoke. This is not the type of nursing I know Sad situation. SCARY TOO

Excellent patient care. The nursing staff did very well in caring for our needs. We would definitely recommend it.

I never in my life had such an unprofessional and horrible experience in an ER. I waited for 3 hours in the ER waiting area after being in the Triage and they kept calling other people ahead of me that got there after me and never bothered to come and check on me, even though I explained I had an unbearable stomach pain on my right side! I had to leave with my bracelet from the hospital to the Mid Hudson Regional where they finally gave me the care I needed. Beyond disgusted with the attention the staff gives their patients....

I could not have had a better experience as I underwent thoracic surgery. All the treatment was extraordinary from the biopsy radiology staff to the surgery 10 days later. I am three weeks into recovery and feel like I had the best care possible. The nursing staff was extremely attentive and mysurgeon Dr. Cliff Connery is my hero.

DRA is now the Dyson Center, which is part of Vassar Hospital. I went for a routine yearly mammogram. My insurance was charge as if I were an outpatient . They don't ask you for a co-pay while you are there.They send a bill. My co-pay was $40.00. It has always been a $20.00 co-pay Is that insurance fraud? I will be taking my business elsewhere. Tell your friends.
