This is a beautiful resort that feels far away from the busyness of Los Angeles.  The grounds are stunning, and there are people to help you everywhere.  We enjoyed meals at all of their restaurants and were very satisfied. We stayed in one of the larger Casitas and enjoyed the beautiful, unbeatable view of the coast in the morning.  The golf course is 9-holes, fun, and quick to play.  Overall, we had a great stay!

We JUST spent 4 nights at Terranea Resort, and we had a phenomenal time.  We read a lot of reviews in advance of our stay that it wasn't quite a 4 or 5 star resort and certainly some of the touches during our stay showed us why that was likely stated.

However for my wife and I were felt that the location, amenities and staff experience was truly wonderful.  The sunsets and terrain / views were stunning, and to be that close to LA but feel like you were away was a nice surprise.

Our room was in a Casita and although far way it was was aided by frequent and easy cart service and the capability of parking right there by our building.  

We'd recommend this property to anyone.  The spa was great, the pools were delightful and the food and beveage facilities were varied and excellent.

Excellent resort, but you are in the middle of nowhere, if you want to explore LA

Lavish complex in a hidden corner of LA. You feel like you're on the Mediterranean coast with those views.
