My husband and I both had to change dentists after 25+/- years, and going to to a new dentist office after our history was hard to swallow. The front office was very organized, smiling, and treating everyone nice. I didn't wait too long for an assistant to get me. She made introductions and told me what was going on. I needed x-rays (and that is never pleasant). After that, the dentist came in and introduced herself. She said that she likes to check over a new patient' mouth so she can be familiar with it. She paid very close attention to everything in my mouth, compared to x-rays, and to previous records. She checked my gums, cleaned my teeth, and then the assistant polished and flossed. Made 6-month appointment. Quick and easy. Dr. Doss was very pleasant, and friendly, while maintaining professionalism. Good visit for both.

Great first time visit.  Everyone was very friendly. Check-in was quick and easy and I was called for my appointment promptly. The dental tech seemed very knowledgeable and did a thorough cleaning, explaining what she was doing at each step. The doctor took the time to answer questions and provided good advice.

My first appointment was pretty great. Staff were all very friendly. Dr. Doss is amazing. I was pretty terrified just because I have never liked the dentist but she and her assistant made it a great experience. I will definitely recommend Virginia Family Dentistry to my friends and family. You guys are awesome!

Always give a business more than one chance. Wasn’t pleased with my visit, which I also was in high pain so not in a right frame of mind. Returned for another visit with a child and had an exceptional visit. All of the staff including dentist Dr. Estill were extremely helpful and kind. Thank you!

Found Dr. Katherine Doss to be very professional, yet warm and good at calming my anxiety ( which is an issue for me with dental work!). She is realistic regarding the costs of dental procedures and willing to plan with you accordingly. She was great with my son as well. Highly recommend her.
