I have not been to the dentist in well over a year because I excessively have brushed my teethe so much over the years that I have worn down the enamel, exposing root areas, which can just about be so painful you will see stars and hurt so bad even during a simple cleaning. And not to mention, my last dentist poked those areas quite a few times even after I told the hygienist that it was too painful to bear. Resulting in a fear so great, I wasn't sure that i would ever have the courage to go back in the chair for healthy teeth care. But let me tell you, Both the hygienist and the dentist were the most caring and compassionate people with whom I have ever met. The hygienist put a topical numbing agent carefully on small sections, and spoke to me the entire time. I had zero pain. zero! Her name is Michelle. This young professional, eased my fears and my pain while also keeping my mind occupied the entire time! I cannot praise her enough on here, also the dentist was just as sweet and compassionate!

Best dentist I’ve been to! Everyone is very friendly and they are normally on time unlike a lot of places. I also trust their opinions and I appreciate all of the feedback they willing give. Professional, caring, and committed.

Wonderful, clean, and friendly atmosphere.  I had an incredible hygiene visit.  My hygienist was very thorough, yet gentle and considerate. I felt that the entire team, hygienist and dentist, reviewed my x-rays and dental work making sure that everything was healthy. I left knowing I was in good hands. This was my first visit to Virginia Family Dentistry,  and I will certainly make VFD my new dental home.

I can't believe id ever say I look forward to a dental visit.  But I felt 100% comfortable with my dental hygienist she was incredible.  Thankyou for your professionalism and cleaning tips.

Such kindness, concern, and friendship is extraordinary.  From helping  with insurance 
claims to actual dental procedures Virginia Family Dentistry is number #1 in my experience.  Can not
