Needed some help with a project. Sales guy was very nice and helpful. One of the ladies behind the register was very rude and snappy. She was rude to her co workers as well. Dunno who pissed in her Cheerios this morning. Won't be back anytime soon

I went in there thinking that I'm not going to find anyone to help me (like the big box store). From the two floor guys to the cashier, they were so helpful! They were right there to answer my questions. And they were so knowledgeable. They helped me load my cart. They helped me figure out my project with what bolts to use. They scanned my item, when I couldn't see a price, in the midst of another transaction, with no interruption to the current customer. They helped me load my car, without asking. Yeah, I'm going here from now on. These employees are great!

Love the idea of a locally-owned (though I don't know if this is), small hardware store. But, it's difficult to support when the prices are higher and the staff aren't as friendly or knowledgeable as the larger stores. What prompted me to finally leave a review was that I called to see if they could copy an auto key. The lady that answered the phone obviously didn't want to go through the motions of finding someone who might be able to answer. Right before we hung up I asked for her name and her attitude suddenly shifted to more of a "fine if you want me to transfer you I can but they're only going to tell you they don't know". She was right, they did not know if they could cut a two-edged auto key without me bringing it in. I called Wally (a place I avoid patronizing but once or twice per year) and was given an affirmative answer right away. The key they cut worked as they said it should. I'm adding one star for it simply being a local small store, otherwise it would be 2 stars.
