Dr. Abbot is such a warm, kind vet. Our kitty is remarkably relaxed in her office and we've always gotten phenomenal care from her, including both routine and emergency care. She's a Certified Fear-Free vet, which is also great.

I realized my cat had some kind of eye infection. I called and they squeezed me in the same day. My cat is scared of everyone, but the staff and Dr. Abbott did everything to put him at ease. They have a room dedicated just for cats, with soothing music, shelves up high for cats to perch on, and even a litter box. We will definitely be back.

We had a 'must treat NOW' situation happen to our dog on the Saturday of Graduation. Our regular vet was booked, the other Erie vet wouldn't get us off of hold. On a whim I did a google search and found Vista Animal hospital. The got us in within the hour. I could not have been more pleased with our experience. The office is designed for a no fear visit. The exam rooms are comfy with dog beds low to the ground. Not a tall, slippery, cold metal table. There was music in the room, half doors to keep the room from feeling enclosed and scary. Our dog hopped right up on the bed and remained relaxed. The staff was attentive and kind and knowledgeable. When he had to go to the back room, he was allowed to walk himself, no leashes or restraints. All the while he got spoiled with treats and scritches and the best thing of all - s chicken broth Popsicle. I would encourage you to check out this animal hospital. We found the whole experience to be worth while.

Great experience with the entire staff, dr. Abbott was very thorough and really took the time to talk about everything about my rhodesian including preventive options in avoiding disease, virus' etc. My dog is very leary of strangers but everything from the design of the dog room which is a low to floor dog bed, to the large windows he could see out of helped lesson his anxiety. He was spoiled with treats, peanut butter and even a chicken broth popsickle given during shots! He didnt even realize he'd been vaccinated ;) They even gave homopathic treats to give him for the 4th of july fireworks which always makes him frantic! will be back next week with our lab and kitty! Great vet and staff.

Dr. Bonnie Abbott and her staff are the best of the best!! You will never find a more caring and loving group of people to care for your animals. We moved here in July, read about Dr. Abbott in the local paper, and immediately called for an appointment for our four year old cocker/corgi mixed puppies. They both immediately knew, as animals do know, that they were in good care. The clinic has the feel of being right at home...neither puppy ever cries when we arrive at Dr. Abbott's clinic...they are so happy to go in for a visit!! They are welcomed into the lovely exam rooms that are more like visiting a friend's home. If you need the best veterinarian that you can find, then you should use Dr. Abbott for your best friends.
