If you want good home cooking at a good price with friendly folks who enjoy chatting with customers, this is the place. Old fashioned diner at its best! Best grits on the planet. Don't like grits? Try these smooth grits with sugar, cream and butter. Yum!! Wheelchair accessibility: Nice wide ramp right at the front door. Not too steep and well marked.
I feel like if you come to the Waffle House you should know what to expect! You know you’re getting cheap food that tastes decent usually cooked by someone who’s been to jail….I think it makes it taste better!! The waitress will greet you and will usually genuinely be sweet but don’t overwork or piss them off….
I happen to stop by since I was in the neighborhood but caught them at a bad time. It was a holiday for most, including me and they happen to be short a person. Took a while for my food. Actually wanted to leave but waited around a little longer. Food was OK considering the circumstances. Been here before and did not have any issues. Still some faith and will try again another day.
As soon as you walk through the door 1-3 people greet you. The food is always good with prices just as good. The staff is always cleaning and pay attention to the customers needs.Food: 5/5
I can't say that I will be ordering from this place any more and it's sad. Because it's right here at my house the few times that we been here there have been arguments in the parking lot between staff and the servers have attitude from time to time. So from one day to the next you don't know if you going to get a good server are a bad one. On this day I ordered online do to this location don't take phone order no more get there and the order is not right. So therefore they tell me that the person that pulled the order either didn't call the order right to the cook are the cook didn't listen to what was being call. Either way I'm over it I pay go money every time I go here and give a tip. Just for the customer service and my order to be trash and wrong. So I will be driving pass this location just to try the one in Mansfield....
All Waffle Houses serve good food but this WH is special. The cook short, white, w/pigtail is the best. Every meal is perfection. I enjoy the short order atmosphere, where I can watch the cooks. The best part of the WH experience is the way you can customize your order.Food: 5/5
This is honestly probably my 3rd time ever in iife visiting waffle house. First and 2nd time was in 2015. I went this day just to get something totally out of my norm. I'm sorry I just don't care for the atmosphere at waffle house. I'd rather not see the chaotic goings on of the kitchen while I'm waiting for my meal and not during eating. Also in line with my other 2 visits years back it didn't seem very clean in here. The person that sat me recleaned my counter area before i sat down but there was food in my seat so I wiped that out and the napkin dispenser had dried syrup and ketchup on it. I didn't like the Philly bowl at all quite bland but the blueberry waffles my waiter recommended were good. I rated the service a 5 because I was seated quickly. Order taken quickly and food out quickly.
They brought our entire table the wrong order. Lol. My hashbrown cheesesteak bowl was… Not delicious. That Borden’s chocolate milk is always delicious though.
